Disappointing
The hotel is large and we had the 1st floor (2 flights of stairs) room with kitchenette. I think we were the only british speaking holiday makers except for a guest we met from london the day before we left. The room itself was basic but clean. Entertainment, tv and most literature was in German or Spanish!! Food was bland and not much variety for vegans or anyone on a gluten free diet!! Plus side was our balcony was a perfect spot for sunbathing. Staff did not always speak English so communication was challenging. The resort would suit german spanish, dutch holiday makers. We will not be returning!!

This has to be one of my best holidays magaluf is amazing but the sotavente hotel was amazing the staff were the receptionists were amazing the rooms were immaculate and the pool area is immaculate I took my two sons and their friends they are young and I'm 61 but I felt like a 21 year old thanks to the way I was treated by the pool staff I wS gob smacked .Antonio is so funny he kept calling me shaggy and made us feel special what a credit to tourism and amillia and naza are the two most beautiful and friendly bar/witnesses I have ever met absolutely beyond expectations I advise any young or older people to go to this resort if they go to magaluf all my sincerity Stuart manchester I have included some photos
Language barrier
This resort caters only for German and Spanish speaking guests, very few of the employees, especially the servers can speak or understand English. No one was able to explain how things work and lead to us being treated in a humiliating way on several occasions
Tatty, dated, musty, with no atmosphere and not welcoming. Sitter clear.
Big fat Zero. Looked at booking flights home after first day. Food is well below par. Apartments are old tatty and smell. You are charged for water with your meal on halfboard. Staff do not speak English.all signs and information in Spanish or German only. Absolute kip stay clear.

Lovely holiday
This hotel is nice and clean. Food is amazing, plenty of choice and freshly prepared. Even some good glutenfree options! There are two pools with enough sunbeds, and there is also direct access to the beach. Staff is friendly and fluent in Spanish and German, probably English too. Animation team is very active and working hard to make it a lovely stay for all guests. When we were there, mostly German and Dutch guests. We booked a room with sea view, which is absolutely worth the extra cost as the view is really nice, but you really cannot go wrong if you book one of the other rooms as it is so close to the beach anyway. Rooms were nice, although the furniture could use an update. Sofabed was really uncomfortable and would be the only negative comment that I would make to an otherwise lovely holiday!
