This charming apartment complex is located in the south of Fuerteventura, 200 metres from Esquinzo Beach in the small town of Marabu. Guests will enjoy wonderful views over the beach and sea. The beautiful sandy beach is a just a 10-minute walk away. Restaurants, shops and bars are also situated in the vicinity, and public transportation links can be found 500 m from the hotel. Jandia is about 6 km away. This is an ideal place for a fun-filled holiday under the Canarian sun.
Definitely one of the most disgusting places I have ever seen in my life. Long story short: an old building, outdated furniture — but the worst part was the duplex apartment we had booked. The photos are misleading, so be careful!!!
At 3 p.m. we stepped into what felt like a two-floor shoebox with a balcony overlooking a viaduct — yes, a heavily trafficked, extremely noisy viaduct. One of the windows was broken and unusable.
The kitchen was a joke: there wasn’t even the bare minimum to make a salad — no knives, no scissors, no peeler, nothing. The drawers literally fall apart as soon as you open them. There was also a constant noise inside the apartment.
While we were waiting in the lobby for the strictly enforced 3 p.m. check-in, hotel guests kept arriving at reception to complain, clearly exhausted. The sentence we heard most often was: “Every day there’s something wrong.”
Stay away from this nightmare. I immediately requested a refund and we left right away. A place truly beyond acceptable limits.
NO ENGLISH!!!....this hotel only seemed to have catered to German people...NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH, tv was all Spanish or German, (to which we later foumd out that the hotel was bought by German compnay)....couldn't change the tv settings to English even though the option was there ....receptionist was of no use, she didn't understand ANY English, and also we felt a bit unwelcome by her, maybe this also was the reason we was given such a not nice room, we had breakfast was standard same everyday, we didn't have lunch or dinner there, instead went to a lovely restaurant round the corner, our room wasn't cleaned or refreshed proper, we won't be staying at this hotel again, but the surrounding is lovely, but if you have difficulties walking i would not recommend staying here as it can be be steep walking upwards and downwards, i would add photo but was so disappointed with room as didn't look like ANY of the pictures
Rooms were fine, the bathroom often smelt from the drains which was annoying! The staff in the dining area were so kind and lovely, particularly Jamma I think his name was, he upgraded my review score from average to good!
Pool is freeeeeezing!
Good location for a chilled, quiet holiday and close to the beach. Not much around but bus service etc pretty good. We don't mind a walk, so walked to beach bars.
We visited Marro Jable 2x and Gran Tarajal easy enough by bus (and cheap enough to Marro Jable by taxi).
Food at the hotel was alright, breakfast was a bit repetitive but dinner was surprisingly tasty each night, particularly the goat dishes.
The bar/Mini market on site is good.. the souvenir shop however added a few euros on price tags!! And when challenged we're just grumpy, I personally chose to travel to Marro Jable to buy stuff then shop there again!!
Some good things
But plenty of bad too
Wouldn’t bother going back. If you’re in the 100 or 200 numbered rooms you’ll never see the sun!
Let’s start with some positive things:
For improvement:
Summary: Has lots of good things going for it, but I’d be inclined to spend a little more next time and get a step up for it.
