From the minute we walked in we were amazed at the decor of the hotel, stunning. We checked in and sadly our room was not ready so we had to wait and after a long day of travelling we just wanted to get into a change of clothes and relax. When we got into our room it was clean and tidy and was cleaned daily to a high standard...
The pools were clean and for a hotel of this size they never felt busy which was great and kids were allowed inflatables which was a plus. It would have been nice if the pools would have been warmer. The food in both restaurants were lovely. Men make sure you take trousers as you are not allowed in for evening service without. We were not informed of this so were stuck the first couple of nights. I did think this was a silly rule as you then had ladies coming in wearing next to nothing! I agree with some of the reviews that some of the bar staff were rude and would leave you waiting whilst finishing their conversations off with their colleagues. The evening entertainment was great and something to look forward to. The beach is on your door step which is beautiful. We walked to a little town which took about 30 minutes or a cheap taxi fare away. This is a nice place to visit and breaks the days up. Overall a lovely hotel.
Just had 10 lovely relaxing days here. Like our own private villa. Such a shame the hotel closed and we'll miss out on our January and March holidays there...
Hotel looks amazing after refurbishment. So pleased to be able to stay there when we'd read on BBC News and in Fuerteventura Zeitung that it had closed on the 1st of November. Great to see all the staff we know so well Missed having Mirador to dine in and Pedro and Angel and Sotovento Club for sunset drinks and icecreams served by entertaining John. Upstairs piano bar stunning but missed dancing there. Enjoyed lying by the sauna pool sheltered from the wind. Definitely be back next year when hotel reopens.
Ideal place to relax in winter. Friendly staff. Top quality food. Wonderful location. Very easy to reach Morro Jable. Rent a car is cheap ! Fuel is cheap as well. The landscape around is pecular and the beach and the sea are really fantastic.
Hello To the management of the princess ,Thank you for a beautiful two weeks. My only reserve was the early arrival and the check in.some good coordination between the operators and the princess management is needed.this hotel is vast yet when you get used to it you find it very cosy.the food spread is very generous and the staff are very nice anyway you turn.the entertainment is available most night and it is a pleasure to have dinner and watch a show afterwards (Motown was excellent).the hotel based photographer Danny took some amazing pictures of me and my wife . On last thing thank you the management of the princess with the way they handled the Thomas cook fiasco because my operator was Thomas cook and because my papers were in order the management did not ask me for anything. Keep up the good work
Very nice and very well maintained public areas. Hotel is green and spread around few swimming pools so you do not experience how big it is. Nice selection of food...
Great sandy beach just in front of the hotel. Very good for family stay.
