Stayed at sol fuertaventura for a week all inclusive with my partner . The rooms are clean and modern was happy with the modernisation of the hotel and pool area was really lovely, but without a pool veiw very dull looking at nothing.
The hotel entertainment is beyond poor and very boring at night and during the day . The hotel staff are very slow and not very friendly wasn't very pleased with staffs attitude...
The hotels still due a £15 credit for towels which they charged twice but said they credited (they didn't) honestly wasn't worth arguing about because it was like trying to talk to children when trying to resolve the issue. Amanda at the bar was really nice though a gem in a bad mine.
The foods okay but over the week becomes tiresome to be expected all inclusive though . The resort is very quiet with not really much to do and very little bars and restaurants.
Bottom line is we won't be holidaying in a sol resort again and certainly not in Jandia/Morro jabel. Can't say there's ever been a time I've been happy to see the transfer bus back to the airport.
We stayed in the hotel in room P129 for 7 nights from 5th of September to 12th of September. Room was very clean, (consisted of two rooms actually)spacious with a huge and comfortable bed, bathroom was big enough and clean as well. Room was cleaned properly every day with towels changed daily. You could take red beach towels for 10 euro's deposit, which is very comfortable...
The only shortage of the room was the view from balcony - we saw the back of the hotel with two big water tanks. But we never paid for see/pool view, so no claims for that.
Pool area was big enough, cleaned regularly, we spent a lot of time on sun loungers with drinks next to swimming pool.
FOOD in the restaurant was SOOOO GOOD - huge variety, everything was fresh and very tasty. There was literally everything you can imagine and they had something special like sushi, burito's, fahita's, seafood every evening as an extra to all other dishes. We enjoyed the food in the hotel very much never thinking of going out for a meal.
There was a big variety of good quality spirits - white and dark rums(local), vodka - Smirnoff, gin - Gordons, tequila, whisky and lots more, we just didn't know some of them. You could ask barmen to do any mixture you like. There were also beer(draft and cans of heineken), red and white wine, champagne, sangria.
Staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful, everyone saying OLA. Have to say that most of them barely speak English, but for some reason they speak German.
Beach could be seen from hotel's pool area but there is a main road that you have to cross to get to it. Beach is very big, beautiful sandy with glorious ocean, it's about 5 minutes on foot. Sun loungers on the beach are 13 euro's for two of them and one sunshade(just for information). Location of the hotel is brilliant. The shops are few minutes away, there are two or three car rentals, supermarket is 5 minutes on foot. There is also little town that you can go for a walk to. We are very happy of visiting Sol Fuerteventure Jandia and I will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends.
