The Club Maspalomas Suites & Spa Hotel is located in Campo Internacional, 2,6 km from Maspalomas beach and from the important avenue and commercial area of Meloneras. The Hotel complex have undergone a complete renovation, therefore, new buildings and rooms have been built, but most of the wide open green areas have been respected. This new product is targeted to a more demanding market and we have specialized in the “Only Adults” concept. Without a doubt, the privacy offered by each of the rooms in this horizontal hotel is one of its great attractions. Each room has a garden area where you can sunbathe and relax in hammocks for exclusive use, as well as a perfectly furnished terrace to enjoy the peace and comfort of this paradise. Having guaranteed the maximum level of comfort and relaxation for guests, we did not want to deprive them of the technological pleasures that these times offer: from a careful air conditioning and lighting, to the most advanced internet connection network installed in a hotel in the Canary Islands or the latest Smart TV Hospitality system on the market. With views over the Maspalomas Dunes and Campo Internacional, the outdoor Fitness & SPA area offers everything the body and mind need to reach a state of total relaxation. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and a complete swimming pool with hydromassage hammocks, hydrotherapy jets, steam bath, Finnish sauna, ice fountain and themed showers, as well as a wide range of treatments. The hotel has a large and complete gymnasium to meet the expectations of the most demanding of guests. The fitness area, as well as the cardiovascular equipment, will satisfy the needs of both amateur and professional sportsmen and women. During your stay you will be able to enjoy both the à la carte lunch and the buffet-style dinner, with avant-garde and modern touches that make them unique and delicious. The hotel offers its guests a free shuttle service to Maspalomas beach.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Having been since it was old style set up back in 2012 this is only time I've left disappointed. The atmosphere was 4 🌟 due to reception staff but mainly the bar and restaurant staff with Aeriel making the holiday. Entertainment was okay, a lot more offered during the day with pool exercise and various classes outwith- wine tasting, cocktail making, culinary class to name a few, along with regular gym & spa and twice weekly yoga in grounds. The breakfast was 1st class with something for all dietary requirements. Lunch with was poolside menu and you pay for outwith was also very good, though they could work on presentation of some dishes, evening meal was awful and for 5 days all I had was cold Brussel sprouts and the odd carrot, salad became old fast. The selection of dessert was outstanding though. This is only time we decided to go eat out as food selection was either poor selection, too cold or far too salty to consume. The housekeeping was 5🌟 they keep every inch immaculate at all times of the day. Our room was kept immaculate and it was a pleasant surprise to find they've added a coffee machine 😀 We had a room with jacuzzi and private garden, the garden was shocking and not well mentained. All I can say about this holiday thank you for super cocktails.
So, I did what I said we wouldn't do after last years visit here & returned to give it another try.
Firstly, if you've never been here before then your overall experience will be a good one. The facilities are excellent with a gym, massage/spa treatments, beautiful pool area & many activities to get involved in, if you wish to. The rooms are spotless & the staff are lovely and very attentive. I spotted some positive new additions since last year too: coffee machines in each room & also more activities: wine tasting, pool workout, yoga etc. Well done to the team for adding these!
We opted for the junior suite with a private garden and jacuzzi. The room (137) was very clean and to a decent standard however, some of the execution wasn't great. The astro-turf grass wasn't level and resembled a crazy golf course in patches. A few of the fixtures were lose on the walls & only 1 usb port on each socket isn't really enough in 2026. The main issue with the week was a evening meal food quality. Quite honestly: is was very poor and not what I expected from a 4 star hotel. Far too much salt, veg often cold and many nights I ended up having meatballs & pasta. If you didn't get there early your essentially eating re-heated food that's been under a hit light for an hour. What I found strange: when ordering your early afternoon meal (at your cost) the food was generally great. Why couldn't that have standard of quality been delivered in the evening? On a positive though: the breakfast was superb.
If you've booked B&B then you'll be fine and I'm sure you'll have a fab time. Just don't expect the evening meals to be good.
Facilities 5 stars Execution of services 4 stars Evening meals 2 stars
I won't return but good luck and happy hols to anyone booking.
A five star experience. Nothing was too much for the staff, prosecco on arrival, spotlessly clean rooms every day, entertainment every night, and the food was delish! We had a massage in the spa and it was super easy to book. There is a taxi rank and a bus stop right outside the hotel, so super easy to get around the island. There were no fighting over sun loungers, plenty available. Different themed food nights at the buffet, plus an italian restuarant night that felt so authentic! The tirrimasu was amazing. We could not fault this place at all. So worth the price we paid!
We had a very enjoyable stay at Club Maspalomas Suites and Spa, and the majority of the staff were exceptional. They were friendly, welcoming, attentive and incredibly hardworking. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they genuinely couldn’t do enough to make sure guests were happy and well looked after. Their effort and professionalism really stood out and deserve to be recognised.
The hotel was consistently clean, well presented and well maintained throughout our stay. One area that could be enhanced, however, is the range of daytime entertainment and activities available to guests. Although there were some activities on offer, a broader and more varied programme would have been appreciated. In particular, this would benefit guests who prefer not to spend the majority of their day around the pool or sunbathing, as there were limited alternative activities available. Providing a greater choice of organised activities would give guests more opportunities to socialise, stay active and make the most of their time at the resort.
Unfortunately, our experience with the guest relations lady (Maja) was disappointing and felt very different from the rest of the team. I found her approach to be dismissive and disengaged, as though she wasn’t genuinely interested in listening to or addressing what we were saying. There also appeared to be a noticeable degree of favouritism, particularly towards some of the single male guests. This was uncomfortable to witness and gave us the impression that we were not being treated with the same level of attention and consideration.
What was also difficult to understand was the nature of her role. While the rest of the team were constantly busy, working incredibly hard and going out of their way to help guests, she often appeared to spend much of her time walking around rather than actively assisting guests. At times, it gave the impression that being noticed was more important than actually engaging with and supporting guests.
Perhaps this is simply a misunderstanding of what the guest relations role is intended to involve, but I would have expected the position to be focused on making all guests feel welcome, valued and equally looked after.
That said, I want to emphasise that this criticism is specifically about the guest relations lady and not the wider team. The other staff were wonderful (Eva, Ariel, Daniel)— they were friendly, helpful, hardworking and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. They were a real credit to the hotel and played a huge part in making our stay enjoyable.
Overall, Club Maspalomas is a clean and pleasant hotel with a fantastic team of hardworking staff. With a little more daytime entertainment and activities, and a more consistent approach to guest relations, it could be an even better experience.
This hotel is a stand out! The best hotel my partner and I have ever stayed at. There was every amenity you would ever need readily available. The accommodation was lovely, felt secluded enough to enjoy your time on your private sun loungers and table and chairs but still so close to the pool etc. The staff are so friendly and attentive including the cleaning staff who left the accommodation spotless daily. We loved the pool, gym, bar and pool areas. The gorgeous hotel cat was also a highlight, we miss her since coming home. We already can’t wait to re-book. The food also deserves a mention, the best food we’ve ever experienced within a hotel, breakfast and lunches were amazing, so fresh and tasty, most meals were on par or better than the food we had in restaurants within the local area.
