The modern Dunas Mirador Maspalomas is located in the popular Gran Canria resort of Maspalomas. The laid back area of Sonnenland is nearby and has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants to tempt you. The hotel has two swimming pools with a whirlpool and a large terrace, perfect for relaxing in the sun. There is also a free shuttle bus service to the beach and the famous dunes of Maspalomas. This hotel is perfect for those wishing to explore the resort and experience everything on offer.
From the fantastic freeform pool surrounded by palm trees and loungers to the sumptuous buffet restaurant - this is a hotel that will get you in the holiday mood straightaway.
First, the accommodation. All rooms are modern and spacious with private facilities and a terrace or balcony overlooking the surrounding area. They also feature satellite TV, telephone and safety deposit box (at a fee).
The facilities here are varied, offering guests plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy themselves in the Gran Canaria sunshine. There are a choice of two pools with plenty of space to relax on a comfy lounger poolside and enjoy working on that all-important tan. There's also a pool bar when you want some cool refreshments and a beauty centre if you want to treat yourself to a little pampering.
Later on, why not dine in the restaurant or on the terrace, and afterwards enjoy a drink and perhaps watch live music or one of the professional shows laid on for guests.
This is a great choice for your Gran Canaria holiday, however please be aware that this resort is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

My room overlooked a ground floor bar which was very loud until early in the morning. In addition to that there were bins outside of my room which caused very loud noises when being emptied at 4am in the morning.
The buffet style food was not very appealing and I found myself going hungry most nights. The hotel listing refers to ping pong tables but they were nowhere to be seen.
Very far away from the sea. The hotel's shuttle to the beach was a scam. It was available only every hour, it was picking people from other hotels, so it took 30-40 minutes in a very old, dusty and fully packed bus to get to the beach...
The last bus from the beach was around 16 o'clock, so evening beach was unavailable unless you take taxi for 6 euro (taxi took like 10 min, btw).
Also far away from the centre.
Our room was clean and comfortable, yet old and simple. The balcony was nice. The area around the hotel is quite lonely, so pool view was fun.
All-inclusive food was plenty but boring. The only good things were fresh salad bar with condiments and some of meat stews. But all grill (main course fish and meat) was always awfully over-cooked and dry, always served with French fries. Alternatively soggy over-cooked vegetables. So it was food, never a dish.
Boring breakfast, fake juice and powder coffee from a machine. The most simple cheese and salami, never nice Spanish cheese and ham for breakfast. Few coffee machines and only two toasters gathered huge queues every single breakfast. Queues to freshly fried eggs as well. So it was impossible to get your breakfast warm - either food or "coffee" got cold. Btw, after breakfast coffee machines in the restaurant were switched off and you had go to the bar for your after- lunch or dinner coffee, yet dessert was served in the restaurant.
I wish I could say good things as well. And indeed, very helpful receptionists, nice pool area and everything was clean.
All in all, I go to Canaries for the sea and I stay in all-inclusive for good food. None of these worked out in this hotel.
Lovely hotel, great facilities and superb food and drink. Stayed in March 2020 just as the Coronavirus lockdown was starting. Managed to enjoy a couple of normal days before the hotel closed...
The animation team were good but all of the staff were very helpful and professional. Particular shout-out to the team on reception who were extremely efficient despite all of the turmoil happening. Loved the food in the restaurant, plenty of choice and very tasty. Will definitely return.
Well after reading all the great reviews about the food I was highly disappointed. The food was terrible, not only was it completely tasteless but the lack of choice was awful. No fresh cut up fruit at breakfast. No vegetables in the evenings...
Stay away from the fish bites, there like bad fishcake mush. Food very much catered for the German visitors. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great that they provide a bus down to the town but you miss it Taxi's super cheap at only 3 Euro each way. This hotel is very much let down by the food and I would not recommend paying to go all inclusive here.
hotel ok but a long way from maspalomas town and the night life. my friend has walking difficulties so he only left the hotel once .we was put on the 4th floor out side all we could see was the motorway. ? and garbage bins .only good thing was food was fab and the room was clean...
ps a free bus takes you to maspalomas if its not full ? it was and drops you off but its still a walk and my friend gave up so got a taxi back
