Thanks to the excellent location on coast and a short distance from the southern end of Maspalomas beach, it boasts magnificent views of the ocean and the beach.
The grounds of the building include a swimming pool ideal for a relaxing day. The rest of the pools are located on the rooftop of the building and offers the chance to refresh yourself with views of the Atlantic Ocean. this space also features comfortable sun loungers and chill out spaces with cushions where guests can enjoy delicious snacks and refreshing drinks from the bar.
Faro Lopesan Collection Hotel has 179 spacious and comfortable double rooms. All rooms include a double bed, shower, hair dryer, robe, writing desk, air conditioning, a 43” Smart TV, telephone, minibar, safety deposit box for rent, room service and balcony. Many rooms offer direct and lateral sea views.All rooms are non-smoking.
The hotel offers a selection of hospitality services, from accommodation only to bed and breakfast and half board. Guests have different options as buffet restaurant, à la carte restaurant and two bars, on of them at the pool area. Guests also have the option of dining at the a la carte restaurant (charges apply) where they can choose from a selection of delicious dishes. Infinity Rooftop At the rooftop space, guests can enjoy delicious snacks and refreshing drinks at our bar while they relax at the comfortable sun loungers or take a dip in the pool as the sun sets over the ocean.
The hotel has a spacious gym where you can keep fit during your holidays. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the 2 excellent 18-hole courses located in the south of Gran Canaria, with discounted green fees available.

Hotel Faro holds a very special place in our hearts. It’s a favourite of my wife’s, and somewhere we are always happy to recommend.
What makes it so special is the people. The warmth of the welcome, the care taken over your stay and the feeling of being genuinely valued as a guest make such a difference. Those are the things you remember long after a holiday ends.
A heartfelt thank you to the team for making our time at Faro so enjoyable. Good service takes effort, and the people who provide it deserve recognition. Your kindness and hospitality are a huge part of why we think so fondly of this hotel.
For us, holidays are precious time together, and Faro is somewhere that makes that time feel special. We’ve come away with lovely memories and a great deal of affection for the place and its people.

Hotel is beautiful, great location, fabulous views. No issue with sunloungers. Breakfast is very good. Book a room with sesview
The downsides Hotel is very dark in communal spaces. Parking is €25 a day! Also they take a €50 a day hold deposit from your card on arrival. Trying to get a drink at the pool is near impossible. You pay extra for the rooftop pools and chairs. Don’t bother because the ground pool is twice as nice. The Balinese beds for €20 are not worth it either.
Lopesan Faro was, compared with the other Lopesan hotels in the Meloneras area, by far the best choice for us. We understand that families with children may prefer a larger resort with more facilities and entertainment, but for couples, Lopesan Faro is clearly our number one choice.
The dining experience is simply incomparable. We had dinner at both Lopesan Meloneras and Lopesan Villa del Conde, and in our opinion, the food at Faro is at least one level above both. The quality, presentation, and overall dining experience were excellent.
We also loved the peaceful atmosphere around the pool and the beautiful views from the rooms, with the sea and beach directly in front of the hotel. The location is fantastic and creates a completely different, more relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, Lopesan Faro absolutely exceeded our expectations and is, without a doubt, our favorite Lopesan hotel in the Meloneras area for a couples’ holiday.
Nice hotel lovely staff food never hot room service not good food cold inedible when told reception we shouldn't have to pay for it, was told she would have to see her manager, won't be staying here again.
The location is perfect, close to the beach, restaurants and eateries. The style and standard of rooms is matched by the professional care of staff from every department. The constant support of reception staff is particularly appreciated This visit wasour third and it is noticeable how the group continue to invest in the amenities offered.
