It's all about indulgence and relaxation at the 4 star all inclusive hotel Maspalomas Princess. The recently renovated resort is nestled in a tropical garden and is only a few minutes away from the famous dunes of Maspalomas. Adults may look forward to the following amenities: • Chill-Out area with private pool bar, counter-current pool and Bali beds • Spa with wellness pool, saunas, steam bath and salt cabin • Gym with state of the art equipment • Tropical main pool area with 4 pools, one with a man-made beach • 5 buffet restaurants (incl. 2 specialty restaurants) • Free Wi-Fi Highlights for children include: • Serengeti-themed water park with slides and splash area • Two children's pools (heated in winter) • Kids Club with Mini-Hotel and playground
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Amazing place, everything you need is here - shop, doctor (hopefully not needed), arcade, cycle hire and even 2 restaurants. There is a small supermarket outside, plus bus to Maspalomas itself. Choice of food is massive, loads of food places as well during the diet to cater for all sorts of diets. Only 1 thing 1 didnt like, is lack of air conditioning, although reception gladly suplied us with a plug in fan for the bedroom. Staff were very helpful and always approchable. Video's on Youtube people have done, won us over - then we got here and were blown away.
Perfect for me, only 30 minutes walk to the dunes. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. Cannot fault the quality and variety of the food. Value for money.
Can’t fault this hotel at all! Amazing food, clean, amazing staff especially the animation team will definitely recommend!!!
Our first time back here for 25 years. The swimming pools, bar areas, lounge bar areas are all lovely. I’d forgotten how busy this is and the staff in all areas worked very hard. We never had to wait for a table for long. The restaurant was as expected very busy but the food choices were good, varied and plentiful. Negatives for me and they’re only small. The fresh juices and the wine in all inclusive were awful.Cheap and cheerful, very watery. It would be nice as there is in other hotels if there was an adult only section in the restaurant as the noise levels were off the scale, hence we didn’t sit for long . Bedroom and bathroom comfort was fine apart from a few more drawers would be an added bonus and the towels were very thin. Entertainment was ok. We did aqua a few times and it was also ok. Well located to catch the frequent local buses which we took advantage of of.
Room 3046 has stunning views. Rooms are big and cleaned daily, fresh towels are provided. There is a mini fridge in the room but ours wasn’t the best. Mini fridge is empty no drinks provided. The air con is the room is non existent. It gets very warm in the room even when the air con is on full blast! I would say that needs seeing to asap!
The pools are big and clean plenty of option for adults and families and plenty of sun-beds to choose from . The only down side to the pools is that they open at 10am which personally I think it’s quite late (personal opinion). The pool towel exchange is only opened for an hour between 11:00am - 12:00pm and you’re only allowed to change your towels twice (we stayed for a week, may differ depending on the duration of your stay). Unlike other resorts where you get fresh pool towels daily, not an issue but would be nice to be able to change them daily. The adults pool area is nice and relaxing, well maintained. The cabana beds are very comfortable and you can rent them for a day for €25, it’s first come first serve basis unless you book a special package.
Food is great, plenty of choice for breaks, lunch and dinner. You have occasional themed nights for dinner. The snack / pool bars have a verity of food also suitable for everyone.
The drinks on all inclusive are very basic, cocktails are from a pre made machine, you can upgrade to an all inclusive “premium” but still not all drinks are included and you have to pay for them!
The reception bar is lacking some atmosphere- there is no music playing and it seems pretty dead. There are no nibbles provided such as nuts, olives or popcorn which I think would be a nice gesture to have with your drink.
The spa area is nice and relaxing, we used the spa facilities and had a treatments done. The staff in the spa are lovely and accommodating, I have also booked a blow dry which was booked on the day! 10/10.
The hotel is lovely and accommodating, it’s just lacking some little bits that would make it that extra special. We had a relaxing week, and if that’s what you want the place is for you!
