Disapointed. This hotel has not been redone for many years, and it looks that Way. Not an impressive hotel...
They have two pool areas. One with an infinity pool, the pool itself is quite Big, but the sunbeds are scarce and if you do not come early in the morning it is imposible to get a sunbed. The other is combined with two pools. One with a water and one with a slow river. The waterfall pool is not being maintained, the covering is falling off and underneath the waterfall the pool is covered in rusted pads. At both pools it is imposible to get a sunbed if you do not come early in the day. The food in the restaurant is quite disapointing for being a 5 star hotel. The only good thing about the hotel is that the beds are extremely comfortable and make you sleep like a baby and the lighting on the Common areas are quite Beautiful at Night.
Excellent hotel, really lovely location at the quiet end of meloneras right next to a nice beach with a few restaurants nearby but within walking distance of the town. Great service, great food. I recommend.
We have just got back from an amazing 7 night stay at the Meloneras Palace. First time in Gran Canaria. Absolutely beautiful hotel & resort...
Spotlessly clean pools, spa and bars. Food was served in individual pots & masks worn by staff at all times. Never felt safer! Friendly, helpful staff. Thank you!
Fabulous. We can't recommend this hotel enough, the standard of food, cleanliness, rooms, spa, facilities, and staff who obviously had vigorous training in covid 19 hygiene. Everything in the restaurant we used was self service but was individually portioned, masks worn on a one way system, hand gel available at numerous points...
Once you have left your table, everything is thoroughly discenfected before the next person. We had a wonderful stay and if possible would rate it 6 stars. Looking forward to a return visit.
We are still here as I write this. If you are concern about the current situation don’t be. This place has nailed the social distancing measures...
Everything is cleaned and sanitised between use for beds, tables etc.
The rooms are great, spacious, comfy beds , AC (make sure your patio door is closed) Mini bar is stick on request rather than every other day.
Plenty of choice, plenty of space, no need to set your alarm for 3.30 to get a bed. We’ve strolled down after a steady breakfast around 9am and still the first ones around the pools. The adult only infinity pool is nice and quiet with great views of the ocean.
Buffet is high quality and and mostly of individual servings to reduce contact with spoons etc. Great choice and plenty to choose from. You can swap your buffet for Al a crate depending on nights stays. (7 days)
Go All inclusive, it’s that simple. High end drinks which would cost a small fortune if you were only half board, which is an option. Quality cocktails and great staff helping.
This is a volcano island the sand is a grey colour with rocky sloping shorelines, be aware it can be a bit rocky.
Shops and bars are reopening slowly so be aware not everything is open but it won’t won’t long. There is still a great choice of places in nearby Maspalomas
don’t be afraid to come here, searing is spaced out, table service for drinks etc. Hand sanitisers everywhere and face masked to be worn in close contact with others. Not needed around the pool but are needed when queuing for bar or buffet then removed once sat down.
Amazing place, staff, weather.
