To many rules not allowed to take water or food to your room from outside hotel have to put money on room card , they won’t take cash, Beds very uncomfortable old type sping mattresses with springs almost coming through, food not bad could be better. Stick to salads then you know what your eating.
Good clean hotel and the staff were friendly. All rooms are standerd. Superior rooms only mean they are on the last top 2 floors with sea views.I dont think they are worth the extra money you are better off going all inclusive and having a lower floor...
Sea view and pool view rooms have the sun. The rooms at the front of the hotel dont. The Beer is €2.75 in the bar for a small gass not even a half a pint. They have vending machines on floors 1 to 7 wich sell cans and small bottles of water.
They use a card system were you put money on it at reception first. Then you swipe your room key when you enter the dinning room and buy any thing at the bar and snack bar.
There is no smoking on your room or balcony. Dont think i would like to be there in the school holidays.
We had a lovely stay, yes slightly out date, but very clean. Everyone was pleasant. Three star +, but have stayed in worst four stars...
Pools were lovely.. One warm, the others refreshing. Entertainment even, don't get that in many 3 stars.. Food was great.. Good choice.. Reception team and entertainment team very helpful.. Well done 😊
One can be very anonymous in this hotel where I had half board. Reception staff were very official but the cleaning and dining room staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food delicious and plenty of it...
Pool area very good. My room was cleaned and made up every day. Yes, they have a strict “use only drinks bought in the hotel”: this is a bit harsh but understandable. Will I return for a second visit? Probably. There are good taxi services into the buzz of Playa del Inglés but 20 minutes walks you to the centre.
This is a 3 star hotel but we would have expected a better standard. Whilst our room was clean and comfortable, it lacked basic amenities such as shower gel, tissues and tea-making facilities. We had to ask for a sink plug! The staff were morose and unwelcoming...
We had to pay for internet and pool towels. The food was dreadful - worse than school dinners! The meat was mostly inedible and menus were highly unimaginative. Dishes were only labelled in Spanish until I requested a translation which to be fair was rectified quite quickly. Food was often cold and the buffet was not kept topped up when empty. Entertainment was rather boring and there was no atmosphere in the bar area. Guests were mostly Spanish and German. Drinks and water were expensive, One pool was supposed to be heated but was actually quite chilly and the chemicals in the water played havoc with my skin. The whole place needs a complete overhaul and staff need to learn people skills. The hotel is close to a busy dual carriageway and we overlooked the car park. Sea view rooms were available at a premium
