The Caserio Hotel is certainly the place to be in Gran Canaria. The hotel boasts an impressive location, right in the heart of the popular resort of Playa del Ingles and just 300 metres from the glorious sandy beach. For a holiday destination with everything you need to relax, to have fun, to enjoy a little adventure, and to sample some fabulous food; this is it.
From the moment you step through the door of the Caserio Hotel and see its bright, spacious reception, you'll feel your cares and stresses simply drop away. This family run holiday hotel has fantastic facilities and the very best location in Playa del Ingles – just a few steps from the beach and the main promenade. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel too so exploring the area is made easy.
Good service is all part of the deal so you'll be made to feel very welcome. As well as being very well presented, the hotel has a modern and luxurious feel with vibrant colours, well-designed communal areas and of course a stunning swimming pool. There's even a pool bar so you can lie back and enjoy a cool drink poolside.
Your relaxation is top of the agenda so perhaps you'll be tempted to try the sauna and jacuzzi on site? These are complimentary and can be enjoyed at your leisure – as can the gym if you feel more energetic. For a small fee, you can also indulge in a relaxing massage to soothe away your worries.
As you would expect from a hotel of this calibre, the rooms are comfortable, tastefully furnished and fully air conditioned. Each has a private balcony, satellite television, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and minibar. For a small fee, a safe and wi-fi are also available. Please note upon arrival the hotel will ask for a €150 deposit.
So what to do first? Dive into the pool? Strike out along the promenade. Relax on the sandy beach? Dinner in the restaurant? You'll be spoilt for choice at the Caserio Hotel – one of our finest Gran Canaria holidays.
Ideally located close to the centre of Playa del Ingles, the Hotel Caserio is family run and offers excellent service to guests. It is situated just 300 metres from the beach where a variety of watersports are on offer and the nearby attractive promenade features a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops.
The hotel offers a large pool and guests can enjoy the sauna, gym and jacuzzi completely free of charge or indulge in a massage (at a fee).
excellent place to stay, location is great for 5 mins walk to beach, shops very handy,,, most staff was very nice,, but not all, cleaners where 5 star,, nice place to relax,, food was good , would be happy to go back again ,, after lockdown, some faults but nothing to write worth writing
This hotel is excellent.the staff are very helpful and friendly.the only problems we had was the rooms on our arrival they brought us to a room with no view .we specifically asked for high floor with sea views.they moved us but that wasn't much better finally after complaining again we got a room overlooking the pool which was lovely.we got the sun on our balcony all day.overall i would go back as it's handy to everywhere.
2nd visit to this hotel. Very pleased to have returned . Excellent service on arrival, given the same room i had last time which was very nice...
Food in restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great, large selection of food to suit all tastes, all dishes displayed well so you could see what the selection was. Staff all round were great, even the Spanish lock down did not cause any problems. Will visit again when world travel and holidays are back to normal. Thanks for great stay.
We spent a fabulous 10 days in this hotel. First impressions on arriving were that it was bright, airy and modern. Check in was easy although we had to pay £150 deposit on the room (in case of damage I think) We were given a glass of Cava to welcome us. The rooms are excellent as is the bathroom...
The beds are massive. The balcony was quite small but we had a sea view. The pool and bar areas are fantastic with big double sunbathing beds (they have a proper name but I’ve forgotten it) Very good entertainment in the evening, shame it wasn’t better supported. The rooftop terrace is lovely too with a Jacuzzi. The rooftop bar was closed in the evening probably because it’s still winter. The dining room and food were also excellent. I would especially mention all the waiters and waitresses who worked really hard but were also very polite and friendly. However, you have to get in the elevator very quickly before it closes, the doors are fast and don’t seem to have good sensors. I did mention this to reception so hopefully it will get sorted. I would definitely return to this hotel.
On our arrival at Hotel Caserio, we were greeted by 2 very pleasant guys on reception (Unfortunately we didn't get their names). Check in was quick & easy. The complimentary drink was a lovely touch, especially with us landing in the sandstorm...
We cannot fault anything with our room 604. It was very clean, spacious & the bed was one of the most comfortable we had slept in. We had a brilliant view of the pool & sea. There was plenty of choice for breakfast not so much for evening meal but you can never satisfy everyone. The staff were all extremely pleasant & polite. We never encountered any rudeness. They all worked extremely hard keeping the hotel clean and looking after their guests. The sunbeds were comfortable. We didn't go onto the roof terrace so cannot comment on this. All in all this is a lovely hotel & we enjoyed every minute we was there. Thank you Hotel Caserio 🥰
