This beautiful hotel stands in a privileged spot on the well-known Playa del Inglés in the south of Gran Canaria and about 20 minutes' drive from the airport. An incomparable location that offers guests exceptional views of the Canary Island coast, as well as of the six-kilometre-long golden sand beaches. The hotel offers guest rooms which are perfectly decorated with soothing colours and are equipped with all the convenient amenities needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The property is surrounded by charming gardens and refreshing, freshwater swimming pools. All swimming pool areas have beach beds, sunshades for guests to sunbathe or just relax by the pool. The hotel restaurant service offers delicious international cuisine, cooked with fresh ingredients.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Excellent adults-only beach front hotel. Great good service and food. Personalized service. I will recommend it and come back for sure!
For an alleged 4 star hotel this was disappointing. Whilst the staff at the restaurant were brilliant the food served up was really bland and rarely hot. I found cleanliness in the rooms to be an issue-which, when reported I was told sometimes staining is not easily removed. I am told that this is a sustainable hotel where food waste is kept to a minimum. This obviously reflects on the portions given. That said, we did have a good holiday, but it could and should have been a whole lot better.
Went here for the 3rd time in three years , Hotel is beautiful, very clean , all the staff are so helpful and always polite to you We had two rooms booked which were clean and we were happy with as always with rooms
This year we were very disappointed with the food as very poor and repetitive each day , when we went here in 2024 it was amazing and had dinner every day , last year we did see a small change bit again was always good , this year was a big disappointment, we had breakfast each day which was ok , lunch well I walked out on day is was disappointing some other guests I was chatting to said the same , even one guest who had the unique experience rolled me the buffet evening and as poor . This year we went out for dinner on 3 occasions.
The evening entertainment was also not as good as it was in the two years and repetitive each evening , lucky the the World Cup was on tv in the lounge ,
Hotel is on a great location , clean as always , biggest let down is the food ,
This will be our last visit here we payed good money to stay here for 9 nights and we were disappointed .
Wonderful hotel, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The Unique experience is great too, especially breakfast with Paola, Arminda and Carolina. Our second time here, and won't be the last.
I’m going to sandwich this as there are positives but negatives. The location is great if looking for direct beach access. Would of been great to be told about the gate down the bottom pool to walk directly over instead of just stumping upon it. I will say tho! Sea view rooms are noisy! Music from The bars play until 2am! Not a great issue for me as I have small humans so have learnt the art of blocking noise. We upgraded to unique 2 days into our holiday and this is what made our 10 night stay paletable! Huge love to Evelyn and arinegue whom were attentive, friendly and laughed with love at my partners poor attempts at Spanish! Being able to have fresh cooked breakfast, and choice was a life saver! The solarium room was ok, I was expecting better but I’ll move onto that and break things down. Staff. I cannot fault the staff. All friendly! However I will raise we asked for a bed topper twice after upgrading and never recieved it and nor did we ever catch sight of the “pillow menu”. The hotel was incredibly clean! Despite peeling outdated decor. Lifts from 1997 everything was gleaming! I did panic seeing a cockroach night one by the pool bar but this is the only one I seen during our duration of stay. Food. If you are a 90s kid like me and remember crinkle carrots, purée mash and a sense of I have no idea what that is you will then rate the food. A huge concern for me was labelling. I mistook fish for pork, I couldn’t tell you what the desserts were. And even ate one with nuts unlabelled which is lucky I don’t carry an allergy. The food was lukewarm which is not a huge issue but there was just a lack of things to make a kind of meal with. I will say the one night I had steak was fab but the food was nothing to ride home about. Placement of items made no sense and there was just a lack of anything that met the needs of those with aversions or allergies. Meal times were like locusts feeding, and for a 4 star I had hoped the food was at least palettable and the experience slightly peaceful but this was a disappointment for me! All inclusive. Now when I book all inclusive I expect all inclusive. We upgraded to premium for branded drinks although the menus were restrictive and limited! Drinks are only 11-11 and food is non existent throught the days other than mealtimes! Not that the majority of it was edible! Rooms; The rooms were outdated and needed some serious tlc. The aircon was as effective as being coughed on by my 10 year old. The grout needed some serious bleaching. Hangers coated in a grease like substance and dressers and drawers crack and looking tired. The beds are hard and there is no sight of a double. It’s two pushed together, so forbid you wish to hug your partner as your be lost down into the depths of the inbetween darkness . There are a couple of random baskets screwed to the wall as decor and bin baskets but we were unsure if these could be used as bins or not. No milk in the rooms for tea and coffee. No bottles of water freely accessible. Although in unique we got two glass 500ml bottles a day. The unique upgrade to the solarium meant we had a quiet space to sunbathe on comfy beds! However no shower up there and the jacuzzi wasn’t in order meaning we didn’t utilise this as much as we wanted! The flooring had obviously been painted and was showing significant wear as was the pergolas. The entertainment was non existent other than dj and a show or a band or something not frivolous. The daytime entertainment was fitness based which is fine but I would of loved some sort of entertainment or activities. There was wine tasting but as not a huge drinker and a further cost I didn’t partake.
Sunbeds were plenty. Although comfort wasn’t king. Cocktails for all inclusive was extremely limited. As was drink options if I’m being honest. I feel 4stars for this hotel is incorrect and would score it 3/3.5. Aestically it’s pleasing; but we expected so much more from a 4 star and have been left disappointed.
Accessibility wise I feel it’s quite subpar too! Although not wheelchair bound myself I have varying invisible disabilities and simple reasonable adjustments could of been helpful. The main stairs when hitting the brown marble can be tricky for those with any sense of visual impairment and I struggled down these as I couldn’t decipher where one step ended and began. The lifts are too small to comfortably accommodate a wheelchair user and more than one carer and luggage. I only noticed the pool down the bottom had a chair hoist for getting into the pool.
I think this place has so much potential especially when the staff absolutely make the place. However this was a miss of a holiday for us and we’ve come away feeling quite sad and disappointed in our stay.
