This wonderful complex, surrounded by the natural landscape and the spectacular view of the sea of Playa del Ingles, is the perfect hotel for those vacationers who are looking for the balance between beauty and simplicity. It has an area of outdoor pool where guests can enjoy a wonderful sunbath in the sun loungers on the shore, or simply cool off in its always mild climate, surrounded by palm trees and green areas. The restaurant offers delicious food suitable for any age and very diverse, while to enjoy the nightlife the bar is available with its drinks menu. The rooms have a balcony to enjoy the paradisiacal views and are equipped with everything necessary to have a pleasant stay. Nearby is the town, where you can find shops, bars and restaurants to get to know the culture and make purchases and, just 40 minutes from the hotel, is the Gran Canaria airport.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This was our second stay at Jardín Atlántico, and once again we absolutely loved it!
We stayed in Room 421 overlooking the main pools, which was perfect as we could enjoy watching the evening entertainment from our balcony.
Our little boy’s favourite part of the holiday was definitely the splash park and main pool. The pool area feels very safe, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with a toddler. He spent hours playing on what he called “the mushroom”, climbing, jumping and having the best time all day long.
We weren’t all-inclusive, so I can’t comment on that side of things, but the pool bar was excellent. The food was always great value and tasty, and the staff serving us were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, and our room was cleaned regularly with the beds made frequently. The location is also fantastic — only a 10-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of affordable and convenient buses nearby that can take you anywhere on the island.
Thank you to everyone at Jardín Atlántico for another wonderful holiday. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to returning next year!

Inclusive package was a huge let down, food had limited options and the quality of the food was terrible, I ate out instead! The pork chops were dry but raw on the inside Entertainment was terrible Majority of staff didn’t interact with people who stayed. The self contained apartment however was beautiful and clean. Amenities in the hotel were mainly closed More for Spanish nationals than tourists
I have just come back from this hotel and wouldn’t advise anyone go there. I had to pay 50 euros deposit then 24 euros for the WiFi and 10 euros for a hair dryer. The food was awful and half the time used the pool bar where you had to pay for snacks which were better than the restaurant. The cups in the restaurant were all chipped and the food was left to dry out and not much fresh was cooked throughout the service. I had to eat out a couple of times as couldn’t face what might be there. Some of the staff were really miserable. I had a room which faced the bars across the road and music was blaring every night till 3am so hard to sleep.
The pool area was clean but at weekends is full of Spaniards and the two main pools had to be closed due to faeces in the pools this happened at 4pm where it was very hot and you then couldn’t cool off.
Overall I made the most of the week and weather was lovely but I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Have stayed here many times before and always have an enjoyable stay. There have been some considerable improvements, especially the pool area and the poolside bar which stays open until 11pm (weather permitting). If raining the pool bar closes and entertainment is provided in the sports bar inside the hotel instead.
For me the location is excellent and I only left the hotel 3 times to go to the supermarket, everything I needed was there.
I have found the staff to be very friendly, from the chambermaids, receptionist, bar staff and restaurant staff. If you interact with them then they reciprocate, 3 or 4 members of staff were particularly nice to me as a solo traveller and always took time to talk to me, especially at mealtimes. They all received a tip from me when I left.
The rooms were serviced 5 out of 7 days and always to a great standard. All public areas are well cleaned. I was fortunate enough to have a ground floor room with a terrace overlooking the children's pool.
The rooms are not perfect but thy are in the process of being refurbished. They advertise no air conditioning so not sure why so many negative comments about it not having aircon ! There were a few cockroaches about, but this is to be expected.
There is some noise from the bars opposite but you expect that in a place like this, I expect staying close to the Jumbo centre is even worse.
I found it to be great value for money, I was all inclusive and found the food to be excellent (and certainly not the same every day as some suggest). There is always a salad bar, hot food counters, cold food counter with meats and cheeses and another cold food counter for desserts. There is something for everyone and if not to your liking then you must be a very fussy eater.
The inclusive drinks package was excellent. San Miguel was the beer, red wine, white wine, Sangria, Pepsi, Pepsi Max,2 x Fanta The house vodka was enjoyable and not like rocket fuel that you get at some places. I was certainly not disappointed with the drinks on offer. A couple of time I did treat myself to a bottle of wine at dinner... and only 10 euros for a very nice bottle of Rose wine.
There was entertainment every evening which everyone seem to enjoy and was a great atmosphere.
I am looking forward to my next visit in October.
