The apartment hotel is situated in the cosmopolitan area of Puerto Rico and is only 20 metres from the beach and a few metres from the shopping centre with bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife. The bus station is within around 500 m.
This complex was renovated in 2010 with materials and quality furnishings imported from Italy. It has a 24-hour reception with a safe and currency exchange service. The air-conditioned establishment comprises a total of 86 accommodation units and features a restaurant, bar and car park.
All rooms are equipped with a double bed, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, radio, Internet access and a safe. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower and hairdryer. The kitchens offer a fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests also have a washing machine, ironing set, air conditioning, central heating and a balcony or terrace at their disposal in the rooms.
The beach hotel has 2 swimming pools and a sun terrace. Sun loungers and parasols may be hired on the sandy beach. There is a golf course roughly 1.5 km from the apartment hotel.
A breakfast buffet is served each morning.

Relaxing, reasonable and rebooking!
I stayed here with friends and booked two apartments for 5 days. I messaged ahead and requested that they be as close to each other as possible and to my delight they were next door! This alongside an extremely friendly reception team got our holiday off to a great start. Note on check in: they needed our passport for half an hour.
Our rooms was clean, spacious and the balcony gets the sun in the morning/day but not in the evening. Great kitchen facilities and there are pool towels in the room. The only thing I would improve would be a mirror in the second bedroom - I think it’s more considered for children to use as opposed to adults but comfortable nevertheless.
The pool is big and is deep enough in places to actually swim. There is a life guard on duty and staff in the pool bar. We did not struggle for sunbeds or parasols. (although not sure what it is like during peak season) The pool bar is really well priced and offer happy hour between 4-5 which was lovely. The staff are so friendly and seem to want to make your holiday better! The pool bar plays music but not overly loud so you can enjoy the tunes without it disrupting the peace.
The hotel itself is in a great location yet you don’t get any of the noise from the restaurants below. Some of our group wanted the beach and some didn’t so this hotel was perfect for us. The walk to the commerical centre is between 15-25 minutes walking at a more leisurely pace and the Morgan mall a 30 minute walk. There is a spar which is a 5 minute walk and a hiperdino 10 minute walk away.
This was my 5th time coming back to Gran Canaria and I think out of the places I have stayed - this is definitely one I would rebook. The friendliness of the staff, the pool and the pool bar and location make this perfect.

Bring your own beach towels. They not gonna let you use your pool towel. Not very big breakfast but rest is very nice
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Inside it actualy looks better than you can guess from pictures. Receptionists (younger woman was sweetest receptionist we had in long time) very nice and professional, cleaners doing great job with a smile. Kitchen equipment in room absolutely top condition. Breakfast variety is small but not so bad + they make great cappuccino and people working there are doing great job. Hotel’s style is old but condition is perfect. However reason why we chose this hotel was location. It’s amazing. Why should we go to pool when you have sea in front of you ? :) And yes…. Can’t give 5/5 for very simple and shocking reason. You can’t bring your pool towel to the beach. We bought nice ponchos for this reason. It cost us 2hours searching time and 160€ for 2. You really wanna keep this rule guys ? Up to you. Would be worth 4,5+/5 . Now 4/5.

Maybe a One off?
Sometimes you wonder why somewhere isn't getting the hype it deserves. This is that place. The website photos just doesn't do this place justice. Hopefully mine will. We booked a bungalow here, named "Cala". It's situated in the vip area with security door to gain access. We arrived early (11.30am) and asked to store our cases. However we were told our bungalow was ready. Great start. After the usual booking in and getting the codes for the security gate were led to our accommodation. The vip area has it's own swimming pool and spa jacuzzi. The patio area has table, chairs, loungers and drying racks. Electric awning over the patio was nice. Inside was very comfortable with Two bedrooms with aircon, two bathrooms and aircon in the living area. Free WiFi and free safety box. All the facilities you could want ie washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave and kettle. You wanted for nothing in this bungalow. The onsite gym was nice, a few running machines and good multigym. The main pool for everyone to use was very large and had a decent snack bar. The views overlooking the beach was nice and all staff were so friendly and helpful. It was so quiet at night and lovely to have you morning coffee and listen to the waves. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Lovely
We had a lovely suite for a week. Everything was lovely inside . The only problem was you could not get your towels dry even after putting them on the bush to dry which to be honest looked a little unsightly. I think they should change the pool towels daily at the end of the day. Otherwise as I said you can’t dry them and when you want clean ones you have to wait for the cleaners to come which is no good if it’s the afternoon. The only other criticism was not enough sunbeds round the over 16s pool. A couple of family’s that were in the bungalows thought this pool was for them and made you feel uncomfortable if you got to the sunbeds before them, still not the hotels fault I know. General pool was lovely as was the food at the poolbar and was a very good price and very friendly staff.
