Lovely hotel, spoilt by loud music and terrible food.

Review by 46lostworld Cheshire, United Kingdom

We only stayed here for the day and night due to an overnight delay with our return flight back to the UK...we were put here by Tui. One night was enough....the food was terrible, the restaurant was like a school canteen! The pool is over crowded, with music that plays all day loudly! The evening entertainment goes on at full blast until midnight...this is too loud and too late for families with young children. It's a shame because the hotel itself looks great.

Great hospitality and service! Perfect holiday

We were here with our family (boys 7/11) and had an amazing time. We have been in the hotel business for a long time and this is how it should be. Hotel is recently renovated...

The people are really polite, if there is an issue it is solved. The new hotel manager Johnathan is an asset. Thanks for everything and we will back to the Gloria Palace Family (Netherlands)

Absolutely amazing holiday and hotel!

We stayed here 20 July for one week. The hotel did not disappoint, it was huge, clean and the staff were all amazing. We went all inclusive and had fresh meat cooked every night, the options were massive...

The staff in the restaurant were amazing and were always there to help clear and take drinks orders. The entertainment was fab and we had several bars to choose from for drinks and a snack bar. Our hotel room was a family room and gave us loads of space with two massive rooms. I couldn't rate this hotel enough and would love to return.

Not worth the money

Review by Explorer47778563576 Leeds, United Kingdom

Wouldn’t recommend if you want an all inclusive - no self serve drinks in restaurant and staff seemed to avoid meaning often only got 1 drink per meal, the food itself wasn’t varied and the same every day more similar to a school cafeteria. The pool and entertainment bars drinks were limited and the cups tiny. Not sure what the point in the wrist bands was as you had to provide your room key everytime which was a pain...

Appart from the reception staff, majority of the staff were very dismissive and unapproachable. The rooms were okay, the Tv didn’t work and was only cleaned twice properly in 7 days. The lifts were also a nightmare 9 floors with only 2 lifts.

It was okay but can get a lot better for the price elsewhere, I wouldn’t come back unless it was significantly cheaper.

Amazing Hotel

Stayed here from 16th July to 23rd July

This is my second visit to the Gloria Palace. I was checked in very efficiently on Saturday night about 11.00pm . As I had missed the evening meal a cold buffet was put on in the dining room, which was adequate at that time of night...

As before the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms were bright and airy with modern decor. I arrived on a half board basis but on my first full day, I upgraded to all inclusive, Which was well worth the extra. There was plenty of choice of food and catered for eveyones tastes. The pool area was fantastic with a number of cabanas and circular comfy sunbeds. You had to be down early to get one of those but there were plenty of normal sunbeds. I also used the gym most days which was great. It is only a 10 minute walk downhill to a Shopping Centre, and the local beach, but that one had volcanic sand. The hotel runs a courtesy bus through to Playa del ingles and Maspalomas which I used a couple of times. The evening entertainment was great. All the staff were so polite and helpful to make sure you had an enjoyable holiday. I travelled alone and felt very safe here. Will definitely be returning to the Gloria Palace.
