The Aparthotel Blue Sea Costa Teguise Gardens is situated in a peaceful part of the seaside resort of Costa Tequise and is just 15 minutes from the island's capital. Comfortable Canarian style apartments surround the swimming pools within the lush gardens of the resort, and a scattering of hammocks & sun loungers create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Several sandy beaches are within easy reach as well as the variety of tourist attractions that have made this one of the most popular resorts in Lanzarote.
My daughter and I booked at last minute deal for this holiday...big mistake! We will start with the positives as there aren't many! -Good Size Room -Pool bar staff pleasant -Beds were surprisingly comfortable -I think the plastic cup in outdoor bar is good as it reduces mess around the pool Negative...buckle up... Lack of Aircon, despite a unit being in the room we were told it didn't work also lack of aircon in the indoor bar! Don't ever choose the Mojito. Worst drink ever! The "entertainment" if you can even call it that was appalling! Most we saw was one game of darts, there was no fun atmosphere that you would usually find on an AI holiday. Drinks are very watered down. The snacks during the day consisted of stale sandwiches in a fridge and fruit none of which looked fresh, no bottles of water so had to use the machine that frequently gave warm water. Pool was freezing throughout our time there. Food - Breakfast was fine if you want toast, nothing else felt edible, hot or fresh, mushrooms swimming in oil! Juices were from concentrate and tasted vile and too sugary. Lunch - we only did lunch one of the days as everything again luke warm, with flavourless fruit. Same for the dinner, only did one evening and there was some meat (wasn't described as anything) was stringy, fatty and vile, even the veg was mushy, we filed up on potato wedges and bread. We ended up eating lunch and dinner out as the offering was just so poor. We loved the area but would NEVER stay at this 'institution' (not an 3* AI hotel) ever again.. loved Costa Teguise but this hotel is dated, way below 3* and way beyond an acceptable AI offering, We do feel saying 2* is being very generous. Read alot of reviews where people said read the negative but wanted to make my own mind up. DONT, Believe the reviews they are all true!
Came for a 4day brake away. Hotel is dirty rooms are vile never seen any cleaning products, full of ants and bugs room didn’t get cleaned while we was there just clean towels.
Food…… we ate out every evening. Infact we didn’t even stay in the hotel at all we went out 9-4. The only good thing was the selection of drinks you get. Speaks volumes when the flights cost more than the hotel. Overall I’d give this 1*
Juan was a fantastic host while we stayed at Costa Teguise gardens Bingo most night and quiz's A great time had by all and so many laughs
