Barcelo Teguise Beach

As we like Costa Teguise as a goto resort, we were looking for different hotels to try (without the help of a travel company).. We came across the barcelo and read the reviews and I have to admit we were not disappointed. The staff are exceptional - friendly and efficient. The hotel is ideally located for getting around the resort (we're not as young as we used to be) and the area is well serviced with restaurants and bars. We go to Costa Teguise once or twice a year and we will certainly be returning to the Barcelo Teguie Beach Hotel

Matias is a great bingo host, had so much fun!

After visiting Costa Teguise for over 30 years (My Mum lived here for 12) we have returned to the Teguise Beach for the third time. Excellent hotel, staff are amazing, food is good and it’s very clean! I have just one little niggle from this year which I feel has let the hotel down a little bit. I completely understand the rule of the pool not opening until 9am but sitting on a sun lounger very quietly at 8.15 in the morning reading a book because this is a lovely time, very quiet, the sun isn’t as strong. To be told one morning that it’s not open until 9 and we shouldn’t be sitting there! Don’t get me wrong I completely understand if someone was swimming etc but to be told to move when reading a book left a sour taste! The other issue I had was for 4 days I had a lovely float in the pool on a mesh lilo, out the way of people swimming just minding my own business to be told on the 5th day it wasn’t allowed. Please be consistent if this is the case and maybe put some signs up on your rules because this wasn’t written anywhere and I don’t understand why we were allowed for the first 4 days. Apart from these two niggles we will return as everything else is lovely!
