Everything value for money can’t argue with anything that they had and what o paid for … happy days ..not in centre which is Reason for cheap price … food perfect for price . Friendly staff for price .soft drinks and lager are  Premium brands so all good . Rest local

Value for money

Spent 9 nights here late September. Weather was amazing and the breeze is welcomed sometimes.
Apartments had everything you needed. Couldn't recommend our room enough Ab304, 1 bed but with double balcony as corner plot and alot bigger than our second room.
Do be conscious that's there's no lifts though so luggage had to be hauled up to third floor.
Hotel itself was very clean, staff couldn't do enough for you and we never had a bad experience with anyone. Restaurant, pool bar and around pool very well kept and cleaned non stop.
Kids disco was fab, non stop entertainment which all the kids loved. Evening entertainment hit and miss but drinks and good company make up for it.
Nearest beach is 5 mins away ( left and left again, then straight over road)
We walked to centre each time and found quickest route was right out of hotel, right again down garden track, left and then right all the way down ( 10/15mins max) 3eu in taxis back if you have tired little ones.
No facilities to change if you're on a late flight/pick up which is honestly my only negative for the hotel. We asked a few times to keep room on or if we could shower and change somewhere but they were fully booked. There is showers arpund pool area which will make do but Just bare this in mind if u have a Evening flight so it's abit chew.
Overall fab holiday and would defo recommend to others. Area perfect base to explore.

Fab family holiday

Had 2weeks in September great hotel but the room I had  in block d was no where as good as the room I had in may in block e put that down to the old bald man on reception that does not like single people apart from that fantastic holiday look forward to returning next may

good hotel

The location is great, not right in the middle of the resort so you don't have alot of noise to contend with.

My room was a top floor, with a large balcony, and when I opened the door I was really pleasantly surprised. I'd read the reviews and had seen they were a mixed bag, but I wanted to make my own mind up.

Upon check in, 8.40pm, I was told to got to the restaurant and get some food, literally ushered there which was nice as it had been a long day.

The restaurant is large and bright with alot of seating and it never felt busy or crowded. I have to give compliments to Manuel, Berto and Dionne who were all super welcoming and friendly, but as were the whole team. The meals sometimes felt like it was a random combination of foods, but there was always a good amount of food, and where there were things being cooked fresh, there was always a good amount.

Pool Bar serves snacks, and has ice-cream which you can help yourself to, the beer and soft drinks were self service which means there are no queues for drinks.

Plenty of sunbeds, and the pool area was lovely, also a lifeguard on duty keeping an eye on people which is reassurring.

The apartment was lovely, spacious and clean. The only down side is there was no mirror in the bedroom, there was a lovely dressing table area, but no mirror - as a woman this is a big thing and a small change which would make alot of difference.

There was shampoo/body wash in the shower, and handwash by the bathroom sink a big plus - a hairdryer!

My room had a folding bed in the lounge, which was strange as it was just me in the room, I did ask if this could be removed - thinking it was a mistake and was toldn it was probably there for the next guests -small niggle but I don't care about the next guests, I was there now. It wasn't removed during my stay. 

No lifts in the complex, so if you ask for a high floor remember you have to get your case up the stairs!

This holiday was just what I needed - a destress break. I would return to the this accomodation in the future - so that should speak for itself in terms of my thoughts about the Blue Bay.

Perfect place for break

Came here with our two children aged 4 and 7 months. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried but I honestly don't know why there is bad reviews. You can check in from 3pm. Hotel is clean and your room is cleaned daily and floors are mopped daily in your room. We booked this hotel then read and realised there was no lift and with a double buggy this would not be ideal so we rang up and requested a ground floor room and they said that was completely fine. The room is spacious it's an apartment it has a kitchen area with a fridge and sink and kettle. A large TV and an outside area with walls. The entertainment is great a kids disco every night. Only downside is it's at 8:30pm so my 4 year old was very tired so could be a bit earlier. Food
Is much better than some all inclusives that we've been to before. Full English every morning with other choices. Lunch is good and dinner is a different theme meal every night. It's a 10 min walk from the beach and a 15 min walk from the Aquapark that we got included in the price. Overall we would come back here it's a great hotel for the price. And I have little to no faults or negatives.

Great hotel no faults
