Costa Teguise

This welcoming apartment complex is situated in the leisure centre of Costa Teguise, approximately 600 m from the nearest beach. The hotel is well situated for the public transport network with a stop located just 400 m away. The town centre, which offers plenty of bars, restaurants and a lively nightlife scene, is also within walking distance. Amongst the hotel facilities are a welcoming bar and a restaurant. Guests may park their cars in the hotel's outdoor car park. The simple studios and apartments come with a combined bedroom/living room, a bathroom and a kitchenette with a fridge. The apartments come with an additional separate bedroom. All of them are well-equipped as standard. Guests may make use of the swimming pool and the sun terrace. There is also an entertainment programme to provide some variation.

Premium Apartments here are lovely.

The HSA Fiscus now has a premium option. It costs a little more but is well worth it. The Premium apartments are not part of the main hotel. They are adjacent to the main reception and are part of a gated complex that has its own pool and bar. This means that no longer does one have to compete for sun loungers with the Plebs nor queue twenty deep at the bar. Nice relaxing music is played over its own system. There are just 30 or so apartments two storeys high that are spacious and south facing. One still eats in the same restaraunt as people in the main hotel. The food is plentiful and one would have to be a difficult and awkward person to be unable to find something suitable to eat. Often it is the more parochial types, usually working class English people that find fault with the food. The beer is Amstel which is OK. The spirits and wine are poor. The spirits are only 20-25% proof and the wine is also only about 2% alcohol. The evening entertainment is woeful but would suit those that like to visit workingmens clubs where one sits at red formica topped tables listening to club singers and second rate comedians. We simply bought our own wine and spirits and enjoyed reading on our balcony. We would definitely return here again.

Love Costa Teguise

Great hotel we stayed at last March We arrived quite late so on arrival reception said go and get some food before service finished then come back and check in which was quite nice Rooms were tidy and clean Food like most all inclusive was plentiful and there was usually a themed evening Pool area was clean and well kept but we tended to use the beach most days as 12 euro for 2 sun loungers and parasol on beautiful sandy beach was great and well maintained and literally 10 minute walk Town centre about 15 minute walk with plenty of bars and restaurants if you fancy a change one evening

Excellent value for money

Had a lovely stay with our friends one of whom is a vegetarian and it was their first time in Lanzarote. We’ve been coming for last 20 plus years and this is the third time staying here for us. I was delighted to see the chef who was here on our last stay around 9 years ago. We had warned our vegetarian friend that she may not have a wide choice but she managed to eat plenty every day despite there not always being a specific vegetarian main option. There were always plenty of vegetables salads and fruit which were as fresh as could be . Breakfast was her favourite. The food was excellent quality especially the pulled pork and roast gammon and turkey. I loved the cheese crackers capers pickles etc every night and the desserts were plentiful. Don’t normally bother with desserts but had several this time. The drinks were as expected . This is not 5 star so I was happy with the local spirits , pleased the draft beer was Amstel and delighted they now supply everything needed for a Bloody Mary. Not keen on the skoosher cocktails but more than happy with my own version of Black Russian and “Bailey” ice cream. White wine was nice enoughas was the cava but our friend shopped locally for red wine for meals as the red not great. It was better on our last stay. Great that the soft drinks are branded though. The place was immaculately clean and the staff in the main friendly and efficient. The manager on our check in was very accommodating swapping our friends room as she didn’t like the location of the first one. He also dealt swiftly with the arrogant loud group of people at the pool bar who thought it acceptable to inflict their loud music on their phones on everyone else sat there. Would definitely return again and love the sound of the premium block. Thanks again Ficus for a fab stay!

All Inclusive 3 star

Stayed for a week. Located 10/15 mins away from seafront depending on how quick you walk, would be too far for those with mobility problems. Likely you could hire a scooter or wheelchair if needed. Rooms big and clean. Beds comfortable, blinds do have a gap in bedroom which was resolved with the bed runner attached to the roller with Two Beach bed pegs - Genius wife of mine !
Food well cooked, for example, chicken fell off the bone, for what you pay for a week, good value and there is always something that can eat if you don’t like fish like myself. BBQ night filling, Oriental night a pleasant surprise. Not a spirits fan but Amstel adequate and soft drinks are branded. Entertainment, Rafaela and William work hard and have a lovely sense of humour and may spell your name correctly on a certificate if you win. Night time entertainment is hit and miss but the two blokes that did the rock night were excellent, they also did a spell of more relaxed covers around the pool one afternoon. Overall summary - three star hotel which for the money you pay is excellent value.

Lovely hotel, but only if you don't mind walking

The hotel itself is lovely. However, took over half an hour to check in, as only one person on reception desk. Rooms are immaculate and cleaned regularly, though not every day. Personally, I found the bed quite comfortable, but my partner found it far too hard. We were on 3rd floor and although no lift available it wasn't too bad. Balcony area was great, and sheltered the wind. All balconies face the pool. Aircon works well, but only in the bedroom area and quite noisy. Pool area is great, plenty of sunbeds, but area for sunbathing might be a tight squeeze during peak times. Food was good. Breakfast was the same every day, but plenty of choice. At lunch and dinner the basics were same every day I.e. salad, pasta and chips, but different meat options every day. We enjoyed the bbq night. Only downside was on occasion we had to queue and wait for a table to be available, but never took too long. Staff were all great! They all worked very hard, whether this was the bar, or restaurant. staff were all happy and helpful. The entertainment staff, William and Raphaela were great! During the day they did things like stretching, yoga and aqua aerobics, as well as games of pool etc. They would come and ask if you were interested, but we're not pushy. Only downside was the beer, as neither of us are fans of Amstel. Now on to location, it's a good trek to the beach. We walk quite quickly and it took us a good 10 mins to get to the beach, and 15 mins to the square. If you have mobility issues, or want to be in a central location this hotel is not for you. There are a few bars around 100m down the road that were good; the Swan, Ferrari's and Cactus Jack. These are by the aquarium. All show sport if you want to watch the football or F1 etc. Ferrari do good cocktails, and cactus Jack's have entertainment almost every night, ranging from singers to quiz nights, and have 2-4-1 Happy hour from 8-9:30pm. Would I stay here again? No, but not because of the hotel, just feel Costa Teguise was not the resort for us.
