Great place to stay!
Lovely clean resort, very friendly and helpful staff. I’m a female solo traveller in my late 60’s. Felt very safe, everything you need is just a few minutes walk. I hired a car and was able to park close by. I was in 20D bungalow which was up a moderate slope then on the flat. The TV was in German and Dutch so couldn’t watch it. The towels were ‘well used’ the single beds comfortable.
The gardens are well maintained and I enjoyed looking at the plants and trees. Some other guests from the UK meant some conversations took place, they all seemed happy with their stay.

Disappointed
Not as described. No mosquito nets at bedroom windows. Old style wooden beds very squeaky keeps you awake. Bedroom exceptionally small. Broken tiles on bedroom floor.Very old fan in bedroom noisy and on a timer so had to keep getting out of bed to reset it through the night. Tel doesn't work. Washing machine spin doesn't work. Outside white chair already repaired collapsed on me and was replaced by reception. No sharp knives. Very narrow shower door and have to remember to duck on way in and out. Book another villa. Casa del Sol complex is however really good. Shame about this tired villa needs an overhaul.
Lovely family bungalow
We found the bungalow very clean and tidy, everything as describe on the website. The complex very well maintained, spotlessly clean. Very well located. Ingrid has been very helpful, responded very quickly to any queries we had. The reception employees were extremely helpful and sorted out any problems we had.

Great bungalow and perfect location
The bungalow is situatiated perfectly. It's behind the harbor and only a few minutes walk to the boulevard where all the restaurants and stores are located. The park itself has a nice pool and the staff is very helpful. The bungalow was clean and equipped with everything you might need, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom helped us through the warm nights. Ingrid (bungalow owner) was very helpful and quick to respond. We've been to Playa Blanca several times, this location was the best for us and for a fair price.
Peace perfect peace
We'd been to casa del Sol before so knew that the location was ideal. The bungalow is situated quite a way back in the development which carried with it the advantage of total seclusion. From sun up to sun down. You've got everything needed for either a couple or maybe with young children (bunk beds in second bedroom). It was spotlessly clean - kitchen had everything you needed if you fancy cooking in (we didn't bother apart from breakfast). Very close to the boules pitch and there's a set available. Loads of dvds to choose from. Contact with Ingrid the owner was excellent - fast response. Very helpful staff in reception. We shall return.
