We went to this Hotel from 14th November 21. I read the previous reviews and considered changing the hotel because of the negative reviews … so glad we didn’t.
When we arrived, we checked in on our own, late...
Check in was long winded however it was smooth. As we were late arriving, the hotel had but a cold buffet out for my husband and I, which was lovely 😊
The suite was lovely and clean. Suite cleaned & towels changed daily. Beds comfortable and shower good too.
The food for all inclusive was good. Plenty of choices and we could book one al a carte. We went to the Italian which we really enjoyed. As well as the restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and evening meals, the pool bar offered food all day of late breakfast, snacks such as salad, burgers, lasagna, chips, breads, cheeses & cakes. Tea time, sandwiches were available. We had as many drinks as we wanted - very generous measures. If there was a queue it was cleared quickly.
The swimming pools were gorgeous but very cold 🥶 We would be brave and go into the salt water first and swim rapidly!! Then go into the middle pool which felt warm after the salt pool, then go into warmer pool! Plenty of sun beds with space around you too 👍
The hotel is about a 15/20 minute walk via new walkway to the ferry port which is a nice walk. If you walk the opposite way it is about a 15 minute walk to Playa Flamingo beach.
The weather was good, like a good British Summer. We had a lovely break and would definitely like to go back 😊
We had a wonderful stay. The location was great, the resort was spotless and the food was good - plenty to choose from. We went half board, which suited us as It meant we could explore the nearby area during the day...
Playa Blanca or Playa Flamingo, both 10/15 minutes walk from the resort.
We all enjoyed our stay here; lots to do gorgeous food. Lovely gym here too!
You are allowed to go into the a la carte once too. You have to book at breakfast at the front of the restaurant giving the ticket to staff...
Do this ASAP on entering the restaurant to avoid disappointment. We visited the Italian as the French was shut in the week so we missed out.
Loved that they serve branded drinks here SO much nicer having real Malibu, Disarano , Amaretto etc. I did miss having a self serve for the soft drinks.
Overall lovely holiday the only thing I'd change was the entertainment was not great at all!!!
It was a very nice second visit to the hotel. spacious hotel, well maintained and beautiful gardens. The staff are very friendly, professional and very responsive...
The rooms are large, bright and well soundproofed. The terraces are nice with sun in the mornings. The location is great. All Covid measures are respected (hydroalcoholic products available everywhere and masks to be worn everywhere inside). The restaurant offers a wide choice, both for breakfast, lunch and for dinner. The quality is good. We will be back!
Just back from a great stay at Elba. Couldn't fault any of it. The food was very good quality and always something for everyone needs...
The kids club was fantastic. The two guys that run it do a amazing job.
