The recently refurbished Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort sits between sandy beaches and the bustling heart of the Playa Blanca resort. Outdoor life here at the Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort isn't just poolside. You can equally enjoy meandering through the gardens or finding a shady spot to stop and relax.
For a change of scenery, why not try Flamingo Beach? It's just 600 metres away and boasts wonderfully soft, fine sand. Or you can hop on a free shuttle bus to the nearby Dorada Beach. The Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort enjoys a fantastic location between sandy beaches and the tourist centre of the resort. The hotel's extensive grounds are planted with palm trees and host an impressive array of facilities including 5 outdoor swimming pools. The fine sands of Flamingo Beach are just 600 meters away and the hotel provides a free shuttle to Dorada Beach.
Just got back from a weeks stay at the Elba Lanzarote, the bungalows were lovely enjoyed having our own garden and loungers. Bungalows fully equipped and cleaners came in every day. Pool areas and facilities were very good and all staff were friendly and helpful, unfortunately would not return to this hotel as the food was a let down, there was no variety of food and the cleanliness of the plates cutlery and glasses was below what you would expect of a 4 star hotel. We had to go out to eat because of this so having to spend extra money we did not account for. The staff in the restaurant were friendly but very under staffed so some nights we weren't able to order a drink. It is such a shame as the rest of the hotel is lovely.
Hotel its self and grounds are really nice.
But what let it down is the the time we stayed there (Last week) there was an extreme weather warning for heat with temp reaching over 30 the hotel had no air con and it was hotter inside than it was outside. Rooms are not the greatest.. Can only comment on my room, out side our block was left and never cleaned so always bringing leafs and dirt into the room. When complained they cleaned it up for one day and that was it left again. Food wasn’t the greatest it’s great if you love fish and beef done in a different sauce every night. Some nights was pork but again done in the same sauce as beef. Kids selection not great as well.
Location is perfect it’s only 10min walk to beach and shops so ideal location.
Entertainment at night didn’t get to see much of it as you had sweat dripping off you due to no Air con and the queue for the bar was mad as well. Plus not a big drink selection with all inclusive.
For me as being first time at this hotel and first time in area I feel it’s not value for money.
I feel duty of care to guests was over looked with extreme weather warning for heat.
This is only my opinion on this hotel but hope it helps.
We have come with our 2 year old and we have loved it. Entertainment team do not stop they are fabulous! Staff work so hard to ensure all guests are having a great time. Would recommend to anyone.

The Hotel itself and the surroundings and swimming pools are excellent. The entertainment was good. The accomodation was nice but not the cleanest. The real let down was the food,to say it was diabolical is an understatement. It was incredibly cheap low grade quality which is a real shame because that was one of the major things that let it down. Also the amount of flies getting on the food was un hygenic. We were half board and ended up going out to eat.
