I booked this place as my wife and I who went with my parents liked the look of it, the ability to mingle with families [which does not bother us at all] or take things at a quieter pace in the adults only pool, bar and restaurant appealed to us. Keeping an eye on reviews right up until the day we flew out we were convinced we had made the right choice. The only negatives that cropped up were,
Ok,so first the staff were great, dancing singing and attentive. Even poor Carmen in the adults only bar managed to keep.smiling when she was really really busy on her own behind the bar. Findings - miserable staff comments were rubbish based on our stay. If your a miserable moaning old trout it can be hard for staff to keep smiling
Secondly the food was of a very good standard and was varied and plentiful no matter what time.you chose to eat.and generally of good quality Have I had better food? Yes I have, but I have also had far worse. I recall a video review where breakfast selection was commented on as being poor and limited. Let me see , everyday we had the choice of many types of bread, cheeses, meats, salad, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, smoothies, fried eggs, boiled eggs, poached eggs, scrambled eggs, omelette, big fat pork sausages, bacon hash browns, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, black pudding, white pudding. Should I go on ??? Findings -the food was great with no issues
Ok yes you did get a sewerage smell every now and again but I think as a volcanic sulphurous island you are gonna get a little whiff now and again doubled with anywhere we went on the island seemed to struggle with drainage, i dont think you could single this place out. Overall rooms were great and clean and our stay was brilliant and the place is visually stunning. If I had one tiny gripe, its that at evenings some people would sneak in the adults only bar with their young kids and nothing was said to them, this did not however detract from our brilliant stay, in fact my wife and I have already booked to.come.back.next year with my parents and this is a big thing as we usually make it a rule to try somewhere new every time.we go.away.
Me and my husband have returned today from the Elba premium suites, we had a fantastic holiday, it really was a lovely experience. The all inclusive was good especially the food at the adults only pool bar, chuss and the girls were amazing at remembering our drink orders and being super friendly! The evening meal was fine, we always found something to eat, it was your standard all inclusive which we found ok. Breakfast was lovely especially the coffee & the cava was a nice touch! The weather was cloudy a couple of days but this was fine as it kept it not too hot! The last two days it was very hot but was lovely to sunbathe! We visited the marina rubicon which was beautiful! Especially the Beach at playa dorada. Be careful of mosquitoes as I did get bitten to bits but that’s how your skin is I guess, I was a magnet to the them! The queues at the bar at night was a bit long at times but we just ordered a couple of drinks at a time! This was a really enjoyable holiday and we will most likely visit Lanzarote again as the island is stunning! However after the airport experience I think we need a couple of years off 🤣
I'm looking for a song that animation team use it while performing mini disco. It's not one of the main ones but I've heard it few times while staying there.
Chuss made our holiday, he is great and made it so much fun. The food in the mirador restaurant was improved since 2024 and the signage was clear. The lack of entertainment for adults is an issue for us, trying to put adult entertainment at the kids bar at 21:30 at night does not work! Then having the same guitar or saxophone in upstairs bar every night is not good. The rooms were clean. The staff were attentive overall. The gate being broken for adults only is unfortunate and I understand the difficulty in getting parts however kids just being left to run through really does effect it being adults only. La nonnas was diaspointing and that was the second time we had tried it. If I came again I would stick with the buffet restaurant. The pool bar is lovely and Chuss makes it a fun place to be, he works very hard and gets to know the guests always putting them first. The aerobics in the pool is a good addition. However there could be cocktail making classes and other activities put on. I'm not sure we will come again, but if we did it would be for the experience Chuss gave us rather than anything else.
This hotel was amazing!! They gave us an upgrade because we booked with them directly instead of with TUI, which meant a huge suite, spa access, and a welcome gift. The staff were amazing here too. The rooms were very clean as well. There was a list of activities offered everyday like yoga, pool dancing, etc. and entertainment every night at the bar! The hotel itself was lovely. The quiet adult pool was huge and very well kept. The bigger pool that allowed kids also looked really fun although we only went to the adults only pool. We chose the Adult only option which was perfect as it had Adult only bar, restaurants and pool with pool side bar. The food was very very good! The food options also changed everyday which was very nice. There were tons of alcohol free options for one of us who doesn't drink so that was much appreciated. The spa was very good, good massages that we booked and really good spa features like bi thermal shower and steam room. One small downside is that it's not super close to the beach, so if you're keen for lots of beach days it might be harder, we only went to the waterfront to walk around for lunch and it was very easily accessible from the hotel but maybe not if you had a wagon of beach things to bring.
