Amazing place

Review by 884clairs Glasgow, United Kingdom

I am currently sat waiting to leave here after a brilliant week with my family. It is so clean the staff work extremely hard to keep it that way. The food choices were brilliant with a different theme every evening and even a bbq in the sun one day...

Reception staff were helpful and polite on arrival and when there was an issue with electrics one night and the lights kept tripping maintenance were on the matter and it was resolved asap!! The lad working in the entertainment tall lad with nose piercing was brilliant with the kids and playing the games my son had a picture with him. The only issue we had was the big pool was deeper than we thought and our sons very nervous about swimming we tried everything float wise it would have been nice to have a shallower side, so we had to struggle to find a spot round the little pool as everyone had saved sun loungers from early morning. But other than that I can not say a bad thing about our stay here. The dining staff waiters and cooks deserve medals working every day all day.

Full insight review

its rare I wrote reviews, but promised myself I would this time. This is a balanced review - Im not a serial moaner, or an eternal optimist, so I hope this is useful. For families, you simply cannot go wrong here. The Bungalows were spotless, the entertainment for the kids is dip in and dip out as much as you like, but there's always something for them to do...

The evening entertainment is holiday entertainment - don't expect Adele to tip up on stage... Its good, fun stuff. The Animation team are something else (they run the activities) and all of them are superb with kids - I don't know where they get the energy from. The complex is well laid out, there is a bus to the beach (which we never used but is free twice a day) and there is the sister hotel which has a water park (again we never used this) The beach is a 10 minute walk, but the Government have laid a beautiful pedestrian walkway which links the hotel to the port and seafront. If you don't get the bus, its a nice walk, although a taxi is only around 3 euros back if you need it. IF YOU ARE SENIOR CITIZENS then this is probably not the place for you, its VERY family orientated, and if you want a walk to the bars at night, plan a 15 minute walk. Food is all inclusive fare, but the amount you can choose from and the access times means you are never stuck for something eat. Ice Creams and Toasties for the kids right up until 4.30 then evening meals start at 6pm so that fits really well. Believe it or not, this is balanced - I can't find anything bad to say, so ill say nothing. An amazing holiday (I have kids 3, 10 and 11 BTW) which I am now looking to book again and Ive only been back 24hrs.

Animation

Hotel was great but this review is mainly about Jason from animation team! Wow what an amazing guy with children. My 2 boys 8 & 3(scottish)are upset to miss his mini discos as tomorrow is our last day . I felt comfortable with him around the kids knowing they were looked after and included., puts his best effort into making sure kids are ok and enjoying themselves which eases me a little as a parent...

Will definitely be back 😁

Family holiday

After a long wait we finally got the holiday we had all been waiting for, the animation team were absolutely fab with entertaining the children through out the day and night! My daughter turned 3 last Monday and they went out of there way to make it special calling her up on stage singing happy birthday and giving her a gift!!!! However the food it self mainly morning wasn’t great my family and my self didn’t eat in the mornings due to food but over cooked and hard. But like I said the animation team and bungalow was lovely the pools were lovely and refreshing also, overall we had a lovely stay here!!!

After a long wait I had a fantastic time, the only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast, the apartment and staff was great, meet some great people from entertainment and made some life long friends, I would love to have stayed longer and would return
