This sophisticated resort is located on the south of the island of Lanzarote, in front of the sea and only 10 kilometres from Timanfaya National Park and around 900 metres from the picturesque fishing village of Playa Blanca. The hotel was designed as a typical village of Lanzarote, with romantic courtyards and traditional spots. In fact, the entrance is a replica of Teguise's church, Our Lady of Guadalupe. This hotel stands out for its singular architecture and its refined service, thus becoming an icon of high-end tourism. All rooms have a living room with a sofa as well as a complete range of features, such as a pillow and sheet menu as well as a private en-suite bathroom with exclusive toiletries.
If the spa was up and running and less matinance on site and nearby them I would score 5
Amazing 5 star Hotel with the best staff
Had a lovely stay at this hotel as a solo traveller, room was clean and spacious and was cleaned every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only stayed as B&B and the breakfast was plentiful and a great choice to choose from. Restaurants and shops near by to walk to and close to the marina, Market day was Saturdays and Wednesdays just outside of the hotel , Met some lovely people here too. Taxi was €5 each way into Playa Blanca, you can walk it, takes about 40 mins. Two of the swimming pools were heated and plenty of sun beds around, they just need a few more umbrellas for shade. Evening entertainment was low key but very good.
We visit Playa Blanca regularly but have never stayed in this hotel. It was lovely! Spotlessly clean and some of the friendliest staff I’ve encountered in hotels. We stayed B&B so cannot comment on the evening meals (the hotel is located near so many great restaurants so B&B was ideal for us) but the breakfast was delicious. Loads of variety and very fresh. Always able to get a sun bed no matter what time of day which is always a bonus. We requested late check out which is priced at €20 per hour (checkout is at 12pm) which I thought was reasonable. Our original room wasn’t available so we were assigned a different room which was no issue to us. Would 100% rebook & 100% recommend.
One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in, such a beautiful and unique design. The church like entrance and tropical area in the centre of the hotel are spectacular. A special thanks to Francesca for arranging the perfect room and a surprise for my special birthday. Our room in the club area was spacious with a lovely view over the marina, it was clean, comfortable and had all we needed. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and everywhere was immaculate and kept to a high standard. Service from every member of staff was fantastic, we enjoyed both our breakfast and dinner in the hotel. A little more choice of hot starters and main courses would have been appreciated but the food was enjoyable. My only other very small point was the slightly poor quality of the towels and robes in the bathroom which were small and a bit rough, not quite matching the star rating of the hotel. These are very small points and I would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone, it’s such a special place and in a perfect location right beside the marina.
