We're almost starting to count our number of visits on our toes so it's not surprising my comments are positive. Again a peaceful, relaxing break in immaculately clean and more than comfortable surroundings. We've seen change, but only sensible change. No more white table cloths for breakfast but still a high quality buffet, with waiter service, if that seems a contradiction. I loved my freshly cooked omlette and chunks of artisian bread.
Lounger availability was good, though it was the quieter time in between school holidays. Reservation did occur but there was always availability.
The hotel's strength are their people. All are genuinely friendly and welcome you back like long lost relatives.
Rooms are large, with the public areas being equally vast. Clearly built in the days when space was not at a premium. All floors are tiled' with furniture in long lasting Canarian wood design. Adds lots to the local feel. Just hope you don't have noisy people above you who drag their chairs!!
If you want to minimise your packing there are two self pay laundrettes 5 and 15 minutes walk away. This avoids the individual astronomical prices that all 5* hotels appear to believe their average visitor can afford. We will return,
Return visit to this wonderful hotel. As previously virtually everything was excellent, the only disappointment was the quality and service in the pizza restaurant (Don Giovanni I think) attached to the hotel.
Since previous visit lack of investment into the Hotel. Air condition and Television in room dated needs upgrading. The general condition of hotel also needs improvement. Some staff excellent but reception staff member rushing through check in. One particular bar staff rude would not be 5 star standard. Sun beds average standard not 5 star but towel service very good.
Great location, breakfast in à la carte restaurant is fantastic, super friendly staff. Hotel is huge and takes a bit of time to navigate.
This was our 1st visit to Lanzarote. Excellent hotel in great position on the seafront with restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The Hotel rooms are clean & spacious with the facilities well maintained and presented. The common areas are well laid out and offer a range of functions.
The staff are fantastic- professional but friendly and really help make your holiday.
Highly recommended.
