Blue Sea Los Fiscos

Myself and my partner were very apprehensive about staying at these apartments after reading some of the very negative reviews on here. But to be honest we had a lovely stay. We arrived and we were soon checked in by a realy lovely receptionist. She even showed us to our apartment which was dated but clean and comfortable for us. The pool area was realy nice it had a bar serving all inclusive drinks we thought the range of drinks was very good and the lager was realy good. There was a large upstairs sunbathing area aswel as sunbeds around the large pool. The restaurant was also good with at least 4 or 5 different main choices for lunch and dinner we always found something we enjoyed. Yes we have had better choices all inc at other hotels but for what we payed I was good especialy the breakfasts. Overall we had a lovely stay and the staff were all realy good and friendly. Yes the rooms are dated and could do with a refurb but for the money we payed it was good value. Thanks very much for a lovely stay and we are already looking to book again for September.

The description of this hotel was very much over sold!! It needs lots of updating, painted bath, rotten doors and woodwork, broken tiles, bedroom door was too big for the frame so wouldn't shut, cabinets were missing handles so couldn't be opened! Also has no aircon (none was stated on booking) but if you want a fan in your room its anywhere between 20-30 euros, depending who you get on reception. You aren't supplied with a kettle in your room, that's an extra 18 euro charge.

We had 4 cockroaches in our room, the shower either burnt you or froze you, without even moving the tap! This was apparently the same in the neighbouring apartments too.

The internet was shocking, it isn't high speed and is very limited in areas you can get it.

We only came across 2 members of staff over the whole week that were actually friendly, everyone else was miserable, they ignored people and when they had to talk to someone, they couldn't even crack a smile.

I don't think they can really call themselves all inclusive, there was only 1 cocktail available each day, no others available. Food in the restaurant was so limited, a lot of people ate in town instead. Also the food choices were very random, not things you would generally put together on the same plate. The snacks at the pool bar were terrible, all that was on offer each day were tortilla chips with nacho cheese and stale bread with slices of cheese or ham, not even a made sandwich for you.

There were lots of drugs being used around the pool and lots of drama from rowdy groups, people would have their music on so loud you couldn't relax at all. Also the smell of dirty drains was a stomach turner when trying to enjoy the sun!

All in all, we won't be returning and urge others to think twice
