Spacious rooms, beautiful views, exceptional staff!

Review by kittykat81 Leeds, United Kingdom

My family and I have just arrived back from a fantastic break at this wonderful hotel. On arrival, we were greeted in our room with a bottle of fizz and a card to celebrate our wedding anniversary and as requested, we were delighted to have a gorgeous sea view. The food was delicious, the pool incredibly refreshing but the best part about this hotel is the staff...

We would like to say a special thank you to Raul in the cocktail bar for his gorgeous drinks, charming manner and excellent service, all the waiting staff in the restaurants for their hard work and welcoming demeanours and last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to Manu the lifeguard who made a massive effort with customers of all ages and was especially friendly, patient and engaging with our children. All the staff are a great asset to the hotel. Thanks for an amazing holiday! Best wishes, Clare, Dez, Lucie and Isobel Hobson x

Wonderful place.

We arrived at the hotel on thursday just before lunch. Very quick and easy check in by a lovely receptionist. Our room was a sea view and was lovely and clean, bigger than expected...

Comfy bed and air conditioning was pretty good. The food was great, so much choice! The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. Juan Carlos was lovely and funny. The pool was very nice and clean and particully enjoyed the jacuzzi! Nice little games room which we used a couple of times. The cocktail bar which opened at 6pm was lovely and had entertainment every night. Cocktails were great especially the tequilla sunrise! We would highly recommend this hotel to all our friends and family as it caterd for everyone. We will definatley stay here again in the future. Thankyou to all the hard working staff who made our stay lovely.

Lovely Break

Review by Beverley C Farnham, United Kingdom

A friend and I had a lovely week at the Lanzarote Village Hotel in Puerto del Carmen and stayed week 19-26 March.

On arrival after a swift and informative check in at 9pm we were told we would have food brought to our room then a porter assisted us with our luggage. Our room was very nice with tea, coffee and a kettle provided and when our food arrived and we were not disappointed, lovely salad with roll and butter and fresh fruit, which by that time went down a treat. Beds were extremely comfy...

From start to finish we could not fault this hotel, we booked all inclusive and found the food was lovely unlike a lot of other hotels we have stayed in, Mexican one night and Chinese another which were very tasty and all areas spotlessly clean, we didn’t see a single fly in the restaurant but did see a few small birds flying in and out. The restaurant staff were very friendly and particularly hard working, clearing away plates with speed and even serving drinks at the evening meal to the tables whilst dining. Masks had to be worn only whilst moving around indoors.

The pool area was spotlessly clean with a jacuzzi and a plentiful supply of comfortable sunbeds and the whole area got the sun all day long. Pool towels were supplied by the hotel, you had to get a card from Reception and give to the Lifeguard for the towels. The weather was really nice, a few drops of rain first thing but nothing after that, temperature around 24-26 degrees. Windy on one day only.

The hotel is located right in front of a fabulous beach just across from a main road, there are loads of shops, bars, and restaurants within a 10 minute walk with a more local supermarket a few yards from the hotel.

We had a lovely day out at Rancho Texas Zoo which is just a 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel so don’t bother to book a trip to go there but beware there are no pavements on the main road and a roundabout to manoeuvre but well worth a visit to the Zoo.

The hotel had a mini club but not many children whilst we were there so cannot comment on that. There was evening entertainment which was OK, have seen better but also seen worse.

Local buses and taxis are very cheap and on the odd occasion that we ate out at lunchtime, found that prices had not risen and still as pre-Covid and good value.

All in all a brilliant place and thoroughly recommend The Lanzarote Village Hotel.

Lovely hotel

Just had a great weeks holiday at the Lanzarote Village. It has been fully renovated and it shows. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and work very very hard to keep holiday makers happy...

We asked for a high floor room with sea view. We were given a high floor room, but sadly we were allocated a corner room with the view only visible from inside if you were in the bathroom, which was at the end of the room where the patio doors were and outside on the balcony. The restaurant is all buffer service, beautifully presented, and with a variety of dishes that would suit everyone. Location wise it is a short and pleasant stroll along the sea front to lots of local shops and bars. There is a lovely beach just opposite the hotel.

Great hotel

Review by StuGla1 Glasgow, United Kingdom

Just returned from a weeks holiday at the hotel lanzarote village and would highly recommend it. The hotel and rooms are lovely and clean and comfortable. The pool area is lovely and nice heated pool which was such a bonus for our two young children...

We stayed all inclusive and the food was excellent! I am always wary of all inclusive as i am generally not a buffet fan and prefer to eat out but the food was really high quality and lots of choice. Hard working and courteous staff throughout the hotel too. A great games room and tennis courts etc too. The location is about a 8 min walk to the start of lots of bars and restaurants but it’s a nice easy walk along the front.

The only recommendation would be for a bit more on at night for the kids. There was a mini disco one night. There’s lots of kids hanging around the evening entertainment so even just 30 mins or child friendly music would have been enough on the non mini disco nights before the main entertainment started.

Overall though, an excellent hotel which we would be glad to return to and would recommend to anyone.
