Puerto del Carmen

This superb beach apartment complex enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Playa de los Picollos. The complex is situated a mere 300 metres from the stunning sandy beach and its lively promenade. The town centre, with its array of shopping and entertainment venues is just a few minutes' walk away, and there is a bus stop just 200 metres from the complex. The complex enjoys a quintessential island style with a low-rise building and a charming architectural design. The stunning apartments feature soothing neutral and pastel colours and wooden furnishings, offering a relaxing home away from home. Guests will appreciate the complex's selection of leisure and recreational facilities which provide an enjoyable experience for all the family. Guests can dine in style in the restaurant, where delectable culinary delights are the order of the day. All Family Rooms are located at a separate building from the main hotel building and they offer ceiling fan instead of air conditioning.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Well run & perfect for families

Review by Barbara D Darlington, United Kingdom

Just back from a week at this hotel. Family of 8 including a 1,3 & 9 year old. Food is plentiful, fresh and many things cooked in front of you at each meal time...

Impossible not to find something for everyone. In between there’s sandwiches, fruit, cakes & ice cream - sandwiches can be toasted if preferred. Soft drinks, beer, slush & wine are on self- service but all others need bar service which is not always open during the day. Accommodation and environment are nipping clean & all staff work tremendously hard to maintain this. Nothing fancy about the place but totally functional and well run which is no mean feat when providing all inclusive for families. Animation team of 2 do an amazing job with adults and kids & the entertainment each evening was varied & professional. We would definitely return. Thank you everyone for helping to make our week a success.

2nd time around

Review by OliB1986 Leeds, United Kingdom

Coming to the end of our 2nd visit to Olivina and can definitely say I do not want to leave and return home. We’ve had a great 10 days. Booked a double room with priority location so we are in the main building...

The pool areas hare clean and there’s never been a problem getting sun beds. Ok, the AI food and drink sections can get a little repetitive, but we’re on holiday and don’t care! There’s always something to choose from and there’s beer and pop on tap. The gardens are lovely and looked after and the location is superb for us. The area is quiet and just a short walk to the beach and amenities. We will definitely be back.

Good value

Quiet hotel in close proximity to main avenue in Puerto del Carmen. Good food and good variety. Local drinks in all inclusive, so a supplement to upgrade to branded drinks would be good and reach 5 stars.

Fantastic holiday

Review by annettew71 Blackburn, United Kingdom

Well Relaxia, you didn't disappoint.
After reading the reviews before our holiday I was a bit concerned. Everything was perfect for a lovely weeks break. The rooms were very spacious, clean and have a separate living area...

Clean towels daily. Cleaners everyday except Wednesday but still change towels. We requested a room around the 2nd pool on the 1st floor. We got our request but our view was a massive tree. Room 224. The 3 pools were very well maintained and there was always sunbeds available regardless of the time of day. The food well, every meal time we always found a good variety to suit. There was always something available for us to eat. The snack bar was always filled with sandwiches, cakes, fruit and yoghurt. But you could go to the restaurant for a meal breakfast, lunch and dinner time. The beer on the AI was good too. Hubby was quite drunk a few nights of our week stay. The staff on reception are a bit rude when we asked questions, not sure if it was a language barrier. The staff in the restaurant were always welcoming. A few staff on the bar were very friendly. Liza was very friendly and a lovely lady. The area was very good too. Good for walking. We would definitely come back to Relaxia if we visit Lanzarote again.
