We stayed at this wonderful hotel last summer We have never returned to the same place twice but the staff and facilities at this hotel were so great that we booked again for this summer. Unfortunately due to the coronavirus pandemic, that holiday will not be going ahead. We will be booking this hotel next year, and cannot wait...
The staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble, and the food is fabulous, very important on a holiday. We so look forward to seeing you all again and hope that you are all well
Devastated that we are not with all the wonderful staff again. Hope you and yours are well, keep safe. Booked for September, hope to see you all then...
If not see you as soon as we can. The only hotel we have ever returned to. Would have been our ninth visit. Fingers crossed for later this year.
The hotel is under lockdown and still take time to give care and condcideration to previous guests by e.mail to which we have had a few from Beate inc recipes for food and cocktails etc and checking all the family are keeping safe and well this is why we will return again as previous visits with all our family like last year all 15 of us and treated with respect- care and affection by all nothing was an issue to them even arranged my 1yr old grandsons birthday party. The food and accomadation are second to none as are all the staff at this superb hotel and must not forget location close to beach and shops would recommend this great hotel to anyone wanting a perfect holiday and one to remember.Hats off to Beate and Team
My husband and I stayed here between March 10th to 17th 2020 on a Jet2 package holiday.
Firstly I would like to thank Jet2 and staff at the hotel for their hard work behind the scenes to reassure us that we would be able to fly back home as Spain had gone into a lock down situation while we were in Lanzarote.
Los Jameos Playa is in the small resort of Playa de los Pocillos which we knew would be ideal for the type of holiday we were wanting. We were able to relax in the hotel grounds on very comfortable sunbeds as well as walking along the promenade in one direction to Puerto del Carmen or in the other direction to Arrecife. If a longer walk is not want you want then just outside the hotel the local buses or taxis will take you to these and other towns on the island.
We booked a standard room which did not disappoint. Room 1079 was on the ground floor and had a very large enclosed terrace...
The room was spotlessly clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and storage space was good.
The design of the hotel and the grounds were lovely. We were able to relax and any queries we had were quickly responded to by all staff.
We had chosen the half board option and enjoyed the food and felt there was a good choice at both breakfast and the evening meal.
The only argument we had was when we played mini golf. Although it was free to play I think this is the hardest course I have played. It was difficult to know where the holes started and some repair work is needed to improve the course.
We will definitely return to this hotel at some time in the future like so many guest we talked to have done. Thank you for looking after us!
The staff make this place, they are so helpful and friendly. Reception, restaurant, bar, housekeeping and everyone else are all so good. If you add to this the best buffet food ever then you get a first class hotel...
Rooms are comfortable, plenty of sun beds, and lots of space between tables in the restaurant. We were in the hotel until the lockdown, and we hope when times are better we will be able to revisit. Good luck to you all.
