With its beautiful garden setting and its close proximity to the charming old town of Puerto del Carmen, the THB Flora is a wonderful choice of holiday hotel. There's so much to see and do - the beach is just 800 metres away; the old town reveals new delights at every visit, and on top of that, there are all the facilities of the hotel to enjoy too.
The swimming pools are the heart of the THB Flora hotel. This is where guests flock to swim and mingle, to soak up some sun and take it easy. Fringed with palm trees, there's no better place to while away the hours. There's a great snack bar on hand too, so you can spend as much of the day outside, with snacks and cool drinks whenever you fancy.
The THB Flora's gardens are another big attraction. It's a real treat to be able to step out of the sun for a while and enjoy a shady stroll around the hotel, taking in the delights of the garden as you go.
Your convenience and comfort are top of the agenda so there's a handy laundry service*, Wi-Fi*, and a supermarket all on-site. There's also a wide choice of accommodation, from studios to two bedroom apartments, each with a kitchenette, balcony or terrace. Of course, it's not just the practical things that make a good place to stay it's all the little extras like great live entertainment, and lots of games, from pool to table tennis.
There's a wonderfully relaxed pace of life at the THB Flora hotel in Puerto del Carmen. With two excellent swimming pools for you to enjoy - as well as that glorious beach just a short walk away - you're all set up to take it easy.

This hotel is perfectly located to explore the quaint and peaceful old town of Puerto del Carmen in the heart of Lanzarote. Just 800 metres from the beach, guests can choose to relax by one of the two outdoor pools or spend time on the nearby warm sands. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and offers excellent entertainment facilities for adults and children alike.
We stayed here at the end of July for 2 weeks with our family.
The accommodation is set in 2 areas and linked by a tunnel. The rooms are clean and spacious (we were in the 1 bed apartments) and included kitchenettes.
The pools were lovely and Have a beautiful view of the ocean...
I always think a good indication of a hotel is how they deal with issues or asks, And whenever there was a problem or something we needed they were able to sort it very quickly.
There were plenty of measures in place to manage COVID-19 including, hand sanitiser at every serving space in the buffet, at the entrance, mandatory use of face masks, markers on the floor, sun beds sprayed after each use and spread apart, and when on occasion someone tried to get too close, the lifeguard came and moved the sun beds. The hotel was Relatively quiet and so we never felt as though people were too close either.
Kids clubs was closed and no entertainment, but there was a splash park and a play ground which were still accessible.
There is a shop on site and supermarket, and there are supermarkets within 5-10 mins walk. A walk to the beach is 15-20 mins but is steep coming back up, however there are frequent buses or you can get a taxi for around 4-5 euros.
Overall great place to stay and would recommend again.
I stayed here with my sister for a last minute getaway in the sun during the first week of March! Lovely hotel in a nice, quiet convenient location. It was about 10 mins walk to the beach and main strip (or 3euros in a cab) which had lots of bars and restaurants. Beach was beautiful and clean...
The hotel was lovely, it is up a hill but worth the views by the pool! Was originally given an apartment next to the building works and a view of a dark wall so asked to change and was swapped to a pool view junior suite straight away - was very happy with the swap. First time going All Inclusive - food was very nice and good quality but after a week it does get very repetitive. Free drinks and cocktails were always lovely as were all the bar/catering staff. The animation team were so sweet and always happy and cheerful which helped the atmosphere 😀
Overall, for our first time in Lanzarote we had a lovely holiday and would definitely return to the ThB Flora and Puerto del carmen!!
Thank you for a great holiday x
Had a good first few days at this hotel, lovely room, friendly staff, food reasonable...but then the stag-do groups arrived & it was mahem! Noise, unsavoury language, carnage that was undamaged by the hotel personnel. 15 min walk from beach fine for us, but not so good for less mobile. Nice break but wouldn't return to Hotel Flora
This is my 9th visit to Lanzarote and 1st stay in The Flora. So, we arrived on August 30th for a week. Myself, hubby and 3 children aged 15,11 and 4...
Decided to stay here as we had previously visited thb Tropical in playa Blanca and we loved it there. We arrived at the hotel before 12 noon. I knew check-in was 3, so expected to just leave bags and get our bearings in the hotel. We realised after getting out of the taxi that we had left the buggy in the airport so my hubby went back for it. We were checked in quite easily and efficiently. Special shout out to Isabelle and Maria on reception. We had a problem with our fridge and Nestor the handy man arrived at our apartment within 15 mins to change it for us. The cleaning ladies are so friendly. It’s a very family orientated hotel. We stayed self catering though we had lunch and breakfast a few days in the hotel. The food was nice. But happy we didn’t go all inclusive. Nice little supermarket and gift shop in this complex and the guy who owns the gift shop is a wonderful chatty man. The hotel is located on top of a steep hill, so it’s very easy to get down, not so much fun coming back up with a buggy but we enjoyed the exercise. Taxi would cost maybe €2.50/€3. Enjoy your stay here because we did.
We have been to puerto del carmen at least 10 times and have stayed in a different complex each time from 2 star to 5 star and THB Flora is our favourite by far. We stayed early march for 9 nights in suite 114, we were pool facing with a beautiful view of the sea. The suite was perfect size, bright and airy bedroom to the front with a smaller sitting room to the back, 2 tv's but we never turned them on (too busy enjoying ourselves) A small issue that could be fixed easy is that there is no shelf for shampoos etc in the shower - would be great if they could add these. Suite was cleaned 5 out of 7 days, and the cleaner did a wonderful job each time. there is music played at the pool each day and entertainment at night, both we could enjoy from our balcony, this was a big plus for us! The breakfast selection was 5 star, above and beyond what we expected!! i have stayed in 5 star places in lanzarote and this bfast selection was far superior. The staff were lovely and friendly too. Staff at reception were also v friendly, helpful & gave us vouchers for several free drinks, a nice touch. We didnt go all inclusive as we love heading out in the evening for dinner so cant comment on the food/selection. It is about 10 mins downhill to beach, there is a courtesy bus too or a taxi is about 2.50e. There is a good hill, but that doesnt bother us. Also they supply beach towels, which is great and you can rent an iron (decent one) for 7.50e. I saw a review below about a stags do, they stayed same time as us, they were a bit loud, but nothing that would bother us! We had our best holiday in PDC and would like to thank you for giving us such a wonderful place to stay. I wish ye all the best and hope to return later in the year when the world returns to normal!
