Primasol Cala d'Or Gardens

I worked in the hospitality industry for many years and because of it i pay close attention to the finer details of a guest experience, and I can honestly say this hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect.

From the moment we arrived, the team delivered genuine, professional, and attentive service. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests felt valued. It’s clear that customer service is a priority throughout the hotel.

The location is excellent, offering both convenience and beautiful surroundings, making it an ideal choice for families and couples alike. The rooms were impeccably clean, well maintained, and exceptionally comfortable, reflecting the high housekeeping standards that are often difficult to achieve consistently.

The food was outstanding, with an excellent variety and consistently high quality. Every meal was fresh, well presented, and catered to a wide range of tastes, which is a testament to the dedication of both the kitchen and restaurant teams.

As someone who understands how challenging it is to maintain high standards across every department, I was particularly impressed by the seamless teamwork and attention to detail throughout the property. The facilities were excellent, and the children’s pool was particularly well designed—safe, clean, and perfect for young families.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone, especially those travelling with children. It delivers exactly what great hospitality should: exceptional service, outstanding cleanliness, excellent food, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel genuinely cared for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be returning.

Lovely small hotel, all rooms face into the resort so no rooms looking out to the road which I thought was nice. Room was ok everything you would want. Had a bit of trouble with small ants but I guess that can’t be helped. Was nice to have a young gentleman bring our cases up to our room as we was on the top floor. Pool is great but it is a salt water pool which you do get used to after a while. It’s a chill vibe with no one putting towels out at 6am. We put ours on the beds when we went down for breakfast about 9am and always got our chosen beds. There are two seperate pools. The lower down pool is for young children and the higher pool is very much adults and teenagers even though it’s not addressed as this but as I went with teenagers it was nice to be away from babies. There are a lot of young children in this hotel so if this is an issue for you I would avoid. The only restaurant is fairly small so not a huge variety of food but what is there is very nice. We did eat dinner out twice for a change. The breakfast and lunch time choices were very repeatative, burgers, hotdogs. Pizza etc for lunch. Pancakes, full English and fruit for breakfast. No themed nights in the restaurant whist on our stay as I have seen mentioned on other reviews. Entertainment was good as you would expect. Foam party in the pool was fun and the daily aqua Arobics in the pool. There are lovely shops and resturants within a 3 min walk from the hotel and there is a ting ting train you can get outside the hotel which takes you into Cala d’or that comes every 60min and is only 3.50€ each. There is no shop in the hotel grounds which I liked as it saved me keep popping in and spending. You can buy named ice creams and crisps in the bar. The free ice creams are avalible in the restaurant all day and are in little tubs and have a variety of flavours. Our room was close to the evening entertainment which was loud but it finishes at 10pm so did not cause a problem. It’s situated very close to a cove which gets very busy by 10am with all the beds gone to hire. This is a lovely small chilled hotel if that’s what your after then this is the place to come.

Fantastic hotel for families! Super entertainments and activities. Lovely and clean pool area. The food ( all inclusive) was varied and good. Clean rooms and towels every day! Smiling and helpfull staff all over. Absolutly value for the money.
