DISCOVER THE EAST COAST OF MALLORCA Enjoy a wonderful holiday overlooking the sea in the idyllic Calas de Mallorca resort. Located on the top of cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and near beautiful white sandy beaches with crystal-clear waters. The Sol Mirador de Calas is located on coastal cliffs overlooking the sea in the east of the beautiful island of Mallorca, between the pretty beaches of Cala Domingos and Cala Antena. It is the perfect option for enjoying a holiday on Mallorca.
The hotel is highly recommended for adults, and provides spacious rooms with a fresh, modern design equipped with everything you need for the perfect stay. The Sol Mirador de Calas has a spectacular swimming pool and sun terrace area overlooking the sea; a revamped buffet restaurant and a new In&Out Bar.
I had stayed at this hotel twice before as a child, so returning with my own son made the trip even more special.
The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location. Our room was spotless, and I really appreciated that my request for a lower floor was accommodated. We were given a room on the second floor, which was perfect and still had a lovely view.
The only downside is that you do need to get up early to secure a sunbed. However, the hotel manages this well—if you’re not using your sunbed by 10:15am after the pool opens at 10am, the lifeguards place a notice on it, giving you 15 minutes to return before the towels are removed. This helps prevent people from reserving beds all day without using them.
The entertainment team were absolutely brilliant and worked incredibly hard. My only criticism is that there isn’t enough aimed at older children. My son is 9 years old, so he wasn’t interested in the mini disco and was too old for the mini club. He also wanted to join the water polo but was told it was for adults only. It would be great if the hotel could introduce more activities for children in that age group, such as a kids’ water polo session or other age-appropriate games.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and created some lovely family memories. I would happily return and would definitely recommend this hotel.
Breath taking views, relaxing atmosphere, rooms were perfect and clean. Noise level to us was just right, entertainment pool and also a quieter pool. All staff were helpful. Wilson and daniella really stood out to us. We are gutted to have missed the lion King performance as we left the day before to come home. We will definitely be back. Alua Casa cha cha cha!!
All inclusive is crap you have to pay for most drinks. Food is awful no effort what so ever pizza and chips all day everyday I would avoid at all costs you end up spending so much as hardly anything is apart of your all inclusive not even an iced coffee
We stayed from Sunday 14th June for 10 nights. Absolutely loved it. Walked through the door to a welcome drink and were given our wristbands straight away as our room was not quite ready as we arrived quite early The room itself 2822was absolutely fantastic with amazing views. We found the food really good with a great selection in both restaurants never struggled to find something we liked. Wine in the restaurant is of very good quality not the normal cheap draught stuff. Pools are good and although we didn't partake the pool games looked good fun. 4 bars to choose from and I particularly enjoyed the cocktail of the day. Evening entertainment was some of the best we have experienced, live music most nights and if Soul Avenue are on your in for a great evening. The real asset are the staff absolutely brilliant from day one. Whether it's cleaners bar staff or waiting on staff they all go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your holiday. We are hoping to return next year with all the family..
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and found the resort to offer excellent value for money. Our room was spacious, modern, immaculately clean, and provided the promised sea view. The housekeeping team maintained a consistently high standard throughout our stay and were both efficient and thorough.
The dining experience was a particular highlight. There was an excellent variety of food available, with themed evenings (our favourite being the Asian cuisine night). However, during peak dining times, the restaurants became extremely busy, resulting in some dishes running out and not always being replenished.
We were advised at check-in that the two main restaurants offered an identical dining experience. Having visited both, we found this not to be the case. In our opinion, the Terra Restaurant significantly surpassed the Ocean Restaurant in terms of food quality, atmosphere, and the range of dishes available. Nevertheless, the overall selection across the restaurants, snack bars, and beverage outlets exceeded our expectations.
The resort's facilities were excellent, and the swimming pools were particularly enjoyable. The only drawback was the high demand for sunbeds, making it necessary to reserve one early each morning.
The location of the resort is outstanding. Situated approximately one hour from Palma Airport, it occupies a beautiful seafront setting with two stunning beaches on either side, both of which became our favourite places to visit during the week.
The evening entertainment was enjoyable, although it did not particularly suit our personal tastes and concluded by around 11:30 p.m. The resort is surrounded by peaceful residential neighbourhoods with a small selection of bars and restaurants, which we enjoyed visiting in the evenings. As expected in such a tranquil area, the surroundings became very quiet after 11:30 p.m.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay. The exceptional staff, welcoming atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and excellent facilities made for a memorable holiday. We would happily return and would recommend the resort to others seeking a relaxing and well-located getaway.
