Sol Barbados

Not a bad hotel the entertainment staff are brilliant. But more bad than good.

Rooms don’t get cleaned properly beds hardly even made. Very very noisy in the rooms on a night people running up and down all hours.

Pool rules are daft we wasn’t allowed rubber rings or on some days even balls.

Food wasn’t great either. Some days cold and very same same all week.

Drinks ok although cocktail menu small and next to no alcohol in. Bar staff can be rude (don’t speak for all of them some very nice)

Ignore the negative people! My kids (age 4&7) loved our holiday! Busy hotel but it’s a family hotel so everyone has kids! Pool great, beach lovely, rooms cleaned daily, food was ok and always plenty of it. Some noise at night but I slept great.

Only thing we wish this hotel had is a gym!! Had 3 lovely runs along the coast though 😀

An excellent location close to the beach and within walking dustance of strip but far enpugh away not to be bothered by noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was extremely busy at height of the season but it did not compromise on the quality and variety of good available. Restaurant and kitchen staff's uniform was immaculate and ample staff who were efficient in people management so no long waits and were continually cleaning , tidying and replenishing serving areas. A credit to the restaurant team for excellent mealtime experience thoughout a busy period. Hotel spotlessly clean throughout, bedroom very comfortable. Pool area great for kids but the sun bed wars were something else. Stampeed for sunbeds as soon as gate to pool opens at 10.00 a.m. is dangerous. Someone at some stage will fall down those steps. Avoid if possible. A super family experience and will definately return.
