This is a travelodge with a view!!

Review by Jamiewestcountry Bristol, United Kingdom

This hotel is a travelodge with a view. That view is lovely but its still a travelodge!

We called reception for a bottle of water when we got in. We were told to call another number - the sky bar...

They said we would have to come up and get it ourselves.

That is not acceptable. When you are paying over £170 per night for a 4 star hotel you expect some room service.

This hotel has a lovely roof terrace. But it just feels like a travel lodge. The fixtures and fittings in the room are cheap and you can hear everything around you due to poor sound proofing.

I'd recommend coming to the sky bar but please stay elsewhere.

What a gem

Review by Q7843HYalanb

We have visited Majorca several times, living close by in Menorca, but this was the first time we have stayed at the Almudaina. What a wonderful hotel. The rooms are large and very comfortable - ask for a Double Superior with balcony...

We were on floor 7 and had wonderful views across Palma to the port, and cathedral. Everything was spectacularly clean - a concern in these days. The Sky Bar on floor 8 was eye opening - fabulous relaxed atmosphere and food and drink were not expensive, we had expected to pay much more, just for the views. The staff were friendly and helpful, and ready with advice on any query. Loved the whole experience - we will be back very soon

we didn’t stay here but the sky bar is BEST PLACE for a drink

Review by rogermN409WA Montclair, New Jersey

We didn’t stay at this hotel but if you are looking for an AMAZING place to have a drink at the end of the day, go to the rooftop bar here. The setting was amazing with a view of the Catherdral and the harbor and the ships and everything Palma. Drinks were reasonably priced (for a high end bar, not cheap but you are paying for the view)...

Clearly you have to either make a reservation from 8 pm onwards or show up early. So amazing.

Almuadina Hotel is a great city hotel with a great location, friendly staff, lovely rooftop terrace and nice rooms. Also the breakfast is quite good and offers a wide range. I can definitely recommend the hotel!

Great city stay

Review by shogunturi Lachen, Switzerland

Almudaina is a city hotel right next to a big department store in the heart of P.d.M. It looks a bit lost surrounded by countless shops and cafes under the arcs of a major shopping street. Reception area is very small and has nothing more than a reception desk and two elevator doors. Beside that, the boutique style hotel offers everything for a relaxed city stay. Nice and bright comfortable rooms, good beds, a wet zone with a tight shower cabin and good wifi connection. It is worth to pay a bit more for the rooms with view to the south towards the sea and the cathedral. They start approximately from 6th floor on. The top floor balcony restaurant, they use it for breakfast, offers a “one million dollar view” over the roofs of the old town to the yacht harbour and the open sea. Will certainly chose it again..
