Long weekend stay
Lovely hotel for the price, check in was easy and the staff pleasant and helpful. I had a twin room which included a fridge, air con, and tv. You pay extra for the safe which was a 15 euro deposit and around 2 euros a day. The room and en-suite were clean and serviced every morning. The whole hotel seemed clean and tidy the pool was also clean and quiet so was easy to get a sun bed. The pool bar did great snacks chicken sandwich, chips, pizza and a great variety of drinks. Breakfast was 10 euros all you can eat and had a fantastic view over Palma. As others have mentioned it is on a steep hill but taxis are easy to get around Palma if that’s an issue for anyone. Views at night are amazing! Great hotel would really recommend maybe not set up so much for families tho.
Roach motel - avoid!
Cockroach problem. Unprofessional staff both at reception and cafeteria. Many of the cleaning ladies are known to have mental health issues. Fire alarm goes off at all times. Bad smells come into the bathroom up the drains at various times of the day and night. Avoid!
Bad service and no money back!
Bad Service and our room had disfunctional accessories(broken bathroom flush, aircondition, fridge and a noisy balcony). I also asked the service if i could check in a day later and not have to pay for it, which i had a confirmation on, but still i had to pay for this and have not receieved my money back! They have not even answered me.
Save up for another hotel
Just returned from city break holiday and normally choose our location from reading reviews but take some information with a pinch of salt. Overall got to agree its average/poor hotel. Room very basic, air conditioning very noisy, patio door lock had to be repaired the first day, shower good but bathroom unfinished, toilet not clean and floor not cleaned for our entire stay. Towels very old and discoloured and bedding old and only changed on our fourth day. No English tv channels and when asked reception staff was told they didn’t know if there was an English channel and to use Wi-Fi to download something. Reception staff should be more attentive as they are in the hospitality sector but we found only one male member of staff friendly and helpful. We stayed on bed and breakfast basis, some food items were undercooked, lots of small flies around the pastries and cups not very clean. The only positive point would be the view which was great. We used the large shopping centre for any food/drinks we needed about 10 minute walk. We walked into Palma centre which is good and takes about 35 minutes, there is a regular bus into centre from outside shopping centre.
Pound for Pound amazing! Would recommend
Value for money spot on. Hotel looks a bit run down externally, but can’t fault anything within the hotel. Pool area great, poolside bar too. Can’t comment on food as did not eat. 40 min walk into Palma centre but we walked everyday with no issues.
Hotel it self is very clean, air con worked fine. Room spacious and shower was powerful. Great view of the port from the balcony.
The staff continued to surprise me, very friendly and always on hand to help with any issues and recommendations for food!!
Although it’s slightly out the way, it’s less than 10 euro in a taxi, but the walk is fine. The shopping centre is 2 mins away and has plenty of restaurants anyways, but we opted to head in the main centre.
Palma nova 15 mins in a taxi- 20€ so not much at all,.
Highly recommend the hotel- cheapest we could find but overdone my expectations!
