This hotel is a contemporary design hotel located in a XVIII century palace in the old town of Palma de Mallorca (La Lonja district). Boutiques, galleries and restaurants and nightlife are within walking distance. This hospitable urban hotel offers 51 rooms that combine modern design, style and comfort. Every room is different and has its own character. The rooms are equipped with modern audiovisual systems, satellite TV, air conditioning and bathroom with hair dryer and bath accessories. The hotel features cosy outdoor patios where guests can have breakfast outdoors or enjoy a drink in the evening. The hotel also has a small rooftop, a unique space where to relax while enjoying amazing city views.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just back from the most amazing stay at Puro Grand Palma. From the moment we booked, the team went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. Joan was incredible — despite our late reservation, he ensured we kept the same room throughout our stay and seamlessly organised sunbeds at both beach clubs along with all the transport. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
Miriam and Anna on reception were equally outstanding. Whether it was restaurant bookings, taxis or local recommendations, they handled everything with efficiency and genuine warmth — always delivered with a beautiful Spanish smile.
Breakfast at the hotel is truly something special. The quality and presentation go far beyond standard hotel fare, and the omelette of the day became a daily highlight. Barbie and Laura looked after us wonderfully each morning.
Mateau, the general manager, is clearly doing an exceptional job. The entire team radiates pride, professionalism and a real passion for hospitality.
The rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. And the hotel’s location in the old town couldn’t be better — steps away from fantastic tapas restaurants and the charm of Palma’s historic streets.
We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Puro Grand Palma is a hotel that gets everything right, and we cannot wait to return.
We loved our stay at Puro Grand Hotel from the most welcoming team at checking in to the concierge services Elena offered us. The Hotel is stunning and the staff are all very nice and friendly. We will definitely be back.
Lovely hotel - the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the building itself is full of character (in a good way). In our experience the photos online are indeed representative of what they deliver. Be warned that whereas the little chocolates waiting on the bed are complimentary, the snacks on the dressing table are not, and indeed are rather expensive. This is shown on the price card sitting behind them, but they are positioned so as to obscure its snacks section - you only see the minibar part of the list until you've lifted a packet of crisps (by which time you might have already eaten the most expensive handful of nuts you've ever had). Note that if you like breakfast cereals and milk, although they have Corn Flakes and Coco Pops and a tiny amount of All Bran, the milk everywhere is UHT - Mallorca cannot sustain cattle, so all milk must be shipped or flown in, and UHT is the only practicable option. Somehow they manage decent yoghurt though, which is a plus. My advice is to forget about cereals and instead sample the wide array of alternatives on offer for breakfast. The location in the old town is superb; you only are a 2 minute walk from a roundabout where you can catch buses (the bus system is good - research it before going) - a real benefit if you're visiting during the hottest months (temperatures were mid thirties Celsius in early August 2026). There are restaurants all around the hotel if you want to eat out.
The quick summary: I'd happily stay at this hotel again.
I had a 2-night stay at the Puro Grand hotel for the solar eclipse event. This was my first trip to Palma and I loved the location of the hotel in old town. There was the right amount of hustle and bustle in the neighbor and yet, still quiet. Right around the corner was a perfect shop to rent bikes, which I did for a day.
The hotel itself has beautiful character inside. My room was clean, very quiet, the blackout curtains worked perfectly, and my sleep was great. The bathroom was set up well and no desire to change anything about it. It felt very relaxing to return to the room after spending the day outside in the heat.
The staff and service were excellent and really stood out to me. They took the time to take me to my room when I checked in, which would have been a little tricky by myself. They were extremely polite and helpful, including when I asked for a safe place to lock up my rental bike at night.
We spent 3 nights at the Grand Puro and it was absolutely brilliant. The style was simple and elegant, all fittings, decor and features were of a high quality and very clean. Thoughful touches showed that the guest was centre of the design and all aspects of our experience were delighful. The food at breakfast was delicious. Each and every member of the team we spoke to couldn't have been more helpful, the quality of customer service was very high, probably the best I've experienced anywhere. Excellent all round.
