This attractive holiday complex is located in the north of Mallorca, between the white sand dunes and approximately 3 km from the centre of Ca'n Picafort and approximately 6 km from Puerto de Alcudia. There are a profusion of wonderful bars, restaurants and shopping facilities in the area surrounding the hotel and there is an excellent golf course roughly 8 km away.

The complex is surrounded by 5,000m² of beautiful gardens. Additional facilities include a TV room, a bar, a pub, a newspaper stand, a supermarket and a full air-conditioned non-smoking restaurant. Guests may also make use of the hotel's room service facility.
The comfortable rooms come with an en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, a kitchenette, a minibar, a fridge, central heating and a safe.
Guests may make use of the swimming pool and solarium. Fitness enthusiasts may take advantage of the tennis, basketball, beach volleyball (fee payable), minigolf and table tennis facilities. It is also possible to pay a visit to the dive school (extra charge applies), go horse riding, hire out bikes (additional fee payable) or take part in the entertainment programme.
Guests may serve themselves at the breakfast buffet. Extensive buffets offering both hot and cold dishes are offered in this hotel. There is a daily cooking demonstration and a gala dinner takes place once a week (guests are requested to dress appropriately when dining in the restaurant).

We came to Alcudia Pins end of September/ beginning of October for a week, all inclusive. We are a family of 5 with kids aged 6,4 and 2. The hotel itself is nice and clean and well maintained, there are parts that look a little dated but still very nice. The location is nice right on the beach, there are a few small shops within walking distance where you can get the usual souvenirs, inflatables, food and drink. There isn’t much near by if you wanted to go out for dinner or drinking but that didn’t bother us. The room was a good size, we went for a 2 bed apartment which had 2 twin rooms and an extra pull out bed under the sofa. We went all inclusive so didn’t use the kitchen at all so couldn’t comment on the kitchen in our room. We also had a nice big balcony which we could see the sea from. You could hear the entertainment from our room at night but it wasn’t stupidly loud just a low rumble of music which didn’t bother us at all. The food was decent, different things on their specials each night. One night was sea food, another was Spanish food, one night was Italian food etc. The breakfast and lunch menu was the same every day but a wide spread to choose from. The drinks are self serve at meal times which was good for the kids. The queue for the bar at night did get a bit long at times but we don’t drink alcohol so it wasn’t a big deal for us. All of the staff here were very friendly especially the wait staff in the restaurants. One of the staff in particular was very good with the kids and remembered their names and gave them all high fives every meal time which was nice. I’d say the value for money was ok, we paid £3300 for a week which isn’t cheap but we enjoyed our holiday so I’d say it was worth it. All in all I’d say it was a good family holiday, the kids enjoyed all the pools, slides, going to the beach, eating their bodyweight in desserts and ice creams. I don’t know if it would be the right destination for people without kids as it is very geared towards family’s but overall a nice place.
Don't go if you're a couple or adults without children.
Brilliant place for little ones but nothing for adults and there is nowhere within walking distance for adults. There is a bus stop outside which takes you to the port and to can picafort which is lovely. But nowhere to stroll to for entertainment on the evening.
Room was basic which was fine. Nice little sofa, full size fridge and another area by the bathroom which was good for keeping sandy things on from the beach so your living area isn't sandy. Rooms also need updating. We were in block H.
Entertainment on a night was brilliant for kids but nothing at all after their shows for adults. We spent most days off site as we were half board so I don't know what the entertainment in the day was like. There was no boards or notice to say what the entertainment was for the day/night.
Food was usual buffet food. Nothing special but very nice. We both found food we liked everyday at breakfast and dinner.
We didn't use the pools as there was a lot of families but the pool areas were all very clean and well kept. Plenty of sun loungers where on offer so it wouldn't be a struggle to get beds. We spent most of our time on the beautiful beach which is STUNNING. You would think you where in the Maldives. It's crystal clear, warm and the sand is beautiful. Also not very deep either.
Over all this place would have been great if we had the kids with us and they were under 8-9 yrs old but it's not good for families with older children or adults.
We stayed at Alcudia Pins with our family and, overall, I would give it around 5–6/10.
There are definitely some good things. The location right by the beach is great, there are lots of pools and our 2-bedroom apartment was a good setup for our family. The food was similar to Viva Eden Lago, but I found the meat better here. The restaurant staff were also generally friendly.
Unfortunately, quite a few things brought the overall experience down. The hotel feels more dated and less polished than Iberostar and Viva, and the entertainment was weaker, especially for children. The pools were also very cold, even though the sea was around 27°C. It already felt quite crowded in September, so I can only imagine how busy it gets in summer.
The staff experience was mixed. The restaurant staff were friendly, but we found some of the staff, especially at the bar, quite rude.
The biggest issue for us was the lifeguard. He was sitting on his phone and not really watching the children's pool. Our daughter was hit by another child while he was on his phone. I went over and explained the situation. He told me that his uncle had died. I sympathised, but said that it was a children's pool and asked if he shouldn't be watching the children. His response was extremely rude and he told me to go away and complain. Whatever the circumstances, I don't think this is acceptable when someone is responsible for pool safety.
We paid €3,000 for our stay, while Viva Sunrise was available for around €2,800. Because of that, I would 100% recommend checking Iberostar and Viva before booking Alcudia Pins, especially if you can find them at a similar or lower price.
Alcudia Pins has a great beach location, lots of pools and some good points, but for the price we paid, we expected a higher overall standard.
Booked very last minute as a couple and very impressed. Yes, lots of toddlers but hasn’t affected our holiday. Apartment is clean and well maintained. Food in the restaurants is very good with lots of choice. Staff are very efficient everywhere on site. A bit chaotic around the pools but beach is very handy and gorgeous. A few queues at the pool bar but nothing to fret over and queues at restaurants if you don’t get your timings right. Not sure why the bar trailer at the evening entertainment that although open was not staffed. Not much to do outside the complex but we came to chill and have done exactly that. Well done to TUI for excellent management of a busy site
I do not understand the bad reviews. This hotel is wonderful if you have children. We loved it so much we’ve already decided to go back next year. It’s in the beach which is clean & beautiful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pools are large, clean and so well thought of for kids of all ages. The food is great, every meat, vegetable, salad, pasta, fish and dessert known to man. Souvenir & supermarket on site and a bus stop right outside the hotel to take you to nearby can picafort or Alcudia every 13 mins. Onsite park for kids, baby lounge for feeding mums that want a bit of quiet or to just have some soft play tummy time with the babies, tots club stay and play with crafts, drawing and toys. Great drinks and family fun entertainment. I can’t wait to go again.
