Opened in 1997 and refurbished in 2008, the family-friendly Prinsotel La Dorada enjoys an excellent location in the heart of the Platja de Muro area, only 150 metres away from the fine sandy beach going on almost endlessly and the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, and just next to the beautiful S'Albufera Natural Reserve, which can be visited for free. Puerto de Alcúdia and Can Picafort are 5 and 6 km away, respectively, and can be easily reached by a regular bus connection. The aparthotel is constructed around a wonderful pool and garden landscape with 1,500 m2 of pool surface including children's pools. Younger guests will love the mini-club or the playground, while the parents get pampered and relax in the fantastic spa area. Sports facilities such as mini-golf, cycling or windsurfing are available. This hotel is perfect for a family holiday under the Mediterranean sun.

Yet Another Wonderful Family Holiday At La Dorada
We have recently returned home after yet another wonderful stay at Prinsotel La Dorada. We stayed for 16 nights from 18th July and yet despite the hotel being full and it being peak summer holiday season, as always, the hotel consistently maintains a calm and relaxed atmosphere which is so difficult to find at this time of the year. Beautifully maintained gardens, excellent buffet food both at breakfast and evening time and many friendly smiling faces from the many staff that we see each year upon our return. All staff here work incredibly hard to ensure that guests have a wonderful holiday and each guest would have their own memories of those particular staff members they engaged with the most, depending on their own individual holiday experience. However from our point of view, we would like to say a special ‘Thank You’ to Marcos & Abdou in the buffet restaurant , Buffet Head Chef Mustafa for his excellent service regarding our daughters’ gluten allergy, Maria & Milena from the pool bar / Moana Bar & David for his warmth, friendliness & great sense of humour. He is, a great addition to the team at La Dorada in our opinion. Thank you Prinsotel for yet another wonderful family holiday.

What an amazing stay!
The Prinsotel La Dorada was an amazing stay for my family and me. The grounds are beautiful, the Pools areally great, and the staff and managers are so friendly and go out of their way to help you. I cannot thank the children’s entertainers enough; they are so friendly towards my kids, proactively coming over and checking on them. My kids loved the kids’ club and disco. I cannot recommend the hotel enough — we will definitely be back next week!
Love this resort!
We absolutely loved our experience at Prinsotel La Dorada - our best stay in Mallorca so far! We loved the location, the cleanliness of the resort, and the assortment of food options and activities available! We enjoyed the spa, the breakfast/dinner buffets, the dinners at the à la carte restaurants, and the nightly shows. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. I highly recommend this resort, and would love to stay here again the next time we come back to Mallorca!

Food and beverage sprinkled with awesomeness
Fabulous setting, the pools and surrounding grounds make for a fabulous break. Daniel and his team in the kitchen buffet also make every effort to welcome and ensure my family and I had the bestest of best times on holidays. Great work Daniel. Thank you

Met the expectations
Many great things to tell about this place and I will try to be as most based on facts
Full of mosquitos - fake info - zero mosquitos but a few black hornets during a week stay, no flies but relatively high amount of sparrows eating from outside tables. It was not not a bad experience anyway.
Our room was clean ( standard suite ) air conditioning fairly new and also working silently. Cannot split temperatures between rooms - if you sleep separately with part of family you cannot adjust it
Use Mallorcab taxi app. Fair and cheap. Try to avoid other apps. High chance to overpay.
Car rental prices usually contain no insurance ( even basic ) be prepared to pay 20-30 EUR/day
Food in main restaurant is fairly ok, seems prepared for UK and German visitors, rather fat , lots of sweet dishes. Thematic evenings were ok, relatively small amount of fresh healthy salads or seafood.
Great , high level culture of the staff everywhere.
Relatively low level of animations compared to what we experienced before but a good mini disco - a plus - everything in very good Moana restaurant with great air conditioning
Drinks prices comparable 6.5-9 EUR Fair prices of coffee and non alcoholic beverages
Pools are very nice but since the beginning of our stay they seemed not to be cleaned. It could be done during night. Anyway - really not bad - nothing really serious to complain about
Weird blue water in fountains in front of hotel. Dont touch this thing
Nice à la carte bars and restaurants. Service is friendly , serving time - slow but in good atmosphere it does not matter. Nobody was complaining about it
Overall 4.7/5 raiting. Highly reccomend!
