Salles Hotel Marina Portals

Location is ok - walk down to port is not too bad, good shops and restaurants nearby. There is not much of a view from (my) room 625 mainly as it is on the corner. The rooms are dated but comfortable. TV has some English channels but someone needs to sort out BBC1 as there is a message which means you only see half a screen ( I know not that important but all adds up when staying alone) Pool was closed on 1st November without any communication to guests.

Main concern was WiFi - worked fine until November and then no signal in my room. I asked many times for a resolution to be told effectively tough it works other places. I would have understood if it never worked but it did. I am suspicious this happened on the 1st November or is that a coincidence?

Breakfast was the best part of the stay - and the local bar The Ship that had good WiFi and did not mind sitting there all day.

Over all I was happy ish but experience was disappointing in the end with the attitude which seems to be focused on closing for the winter.

This hotel offers all requirements for a relaxing comfortable holiday. The staff are lovely, especially on reception and at the spa. We had one wet afternoon and got an umbrella from very helpful receptionist. Also gave us good recommendations for restaurants etc. The spa is great and there are free Pilates and yoga classes in the gym in the morning. A Big comfortable bed , towels changed every day. English channels available on TV . Breakfast has all you could ask from cold and hot food , local dishes, gluten free options and great sellection of cereals nuts etc.all kinds of milk including soya, with lots of breads and pastries. Would definetly recommend this hotel.
