The newly refurbished Tomir Portals Suites is conveniently situated in the centre of Portals Nous, overlooking the beach of Costa d'en Blanes and the Mediterranean Sea. A number of shops, restaurants and bars can be found in the surrounding area, and the sandy beach is also only steps away. The fashionable marina of Puerto Portals with its luxury designer shops and upscale restaurants is within a short stroll. The popular hotel offers renovated rooms and Suites, sleeping up to 4 persons. Just returned from 7 nights at this amazing hotel. From check in with Carmen who is just great, to the lovely junior suite with big balcony this hotel has everything you could want and need. We have visited lots of nice hotels but this one is exceptional especially staff wise, the way they interact with each other , you can see they are always friendly and happy, despite the long hours they work. The breakfast is just great, good choice, fresh products, nice specials table and the omelette station is so good. The pool area is good, lots of sunbeds pushed together, but you can always get one. Fresh towels daily . The bar area and roof top bar is a great size, good choices of food, and the staff I wanted to pint out. Carol is a pocket rocket, always working and running around. The roof bar is staffed by absolute gems, the 3/4 amigos you know who you are. Thanks for looking after us well. The hotel is situated near lots of restaurants and buses to get to palma, magaluf etc, and always plenty of taxis. Thank you Tomir portals, first visit but won’t be our last.
2nd visit. Love this hotel & even better 2nd time around. It’s so clean. Location is perfect, & staff are so welcome, friendly & can’t do enough to help. We stayed on 4th floor in Junior Suite, which needs updating, but I’d heard rumours that this would be happening during hotel closures end of this year/beginning of next. Only suggestions that would improve our stay would be,
*we reserved a Bali bed each day, but never offered drinks package when doing this. Returning guest told us. Nothing advertised anywhere & had to ask for this. Some guests didn’t know they had to pay for these beds as no signs/adverts We are booking to come back next summer as this hotel is brilliant. Wished we could have stayed longer as met some lovely people
Lovely hotel, lovely and clean. Nice pool area. Stayed with husband and two grown up daughters, perfect for us and also good base to go into Palma etc. staff very friendly and helpful Would definitely recommend
Have stayed here before so knew what to expect. Check in: quick no info given but suppose I did not need any. Welcome drink voucher, Room: booked Jnr Suite which was fine, basic but clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast: All was OK with what we like, fresh eggs cooked to order. Food: Due to circumstances we had to eat at the hotel, first meal was very nice better than expected, wine and beer cold. Booked the rooftop Mexican night, food was OK but overpriced cost compared to portion size. Pool area: Clean, sun beds and towel all fine.
Been staying at this lovely hotel for 10 nights, and sadly have to leave tomorrow. First it’s in a great location. And close to everything. And now about the hotel. Staff are fantastic here, from Eric and Joanna on reception to Frank in the bar and at breakfast. Great staff always happy and nothing too much trouble. The rooms are a good size if a bit sparse and could with a few more drawers, but apart from that good night sleep and nothing negative apart from that. We had breakfast every morning. The choice was fantastic and something for all tastes. Coffee lovely and hot, and egg and omelette station is always nicely cooked with again happy staff. Pool a lovely size no problems getting sun beds. Roof top bar is a great expedience,the night we went up they had a DJ but as we are in our early 60 the choice of music played was for every age, even had a dance which is nice to have on holiday. Please don’t listen to the negative reviews. Yes people can get a little bit noisy but we didn’t have a problem for the whole time we have been here. It’s people just enjoying their well earned trip.
