This holiday hotel with its delightful garden is excellently situated frontline to the fishing port and bay of Sóller in Majorca, enjoying fantastic views. A variety of restaurants, bars and cafés is in the vicinity and the centre of the town of Sóller can be easily reached with the historic streetcar. The city of Palma is 25 km away and is connected with Sóller through a historic train, the “Red Flash”. Guests can enjoy a sunny day resting by the side of the pool or having a splash in it. The property offers delicious local dishes that please all types of tastes. The classy rooms follow the decoration of the whole complex, light warm tones and wooden furniture create a cosy atmosphere and make travellers feel welcomed. They are equipped with comfortable beds and all the needed amenities to have the most unforgettable stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Beautifully located just back from the tram tracks of the famous Soller tramway, this hotel ha much to recommend it. A friendly atmosphere pervades the whole hotel. Staff are cheerful and helpful and many guests were equally chatty - from all over Europe. Rooms are clean and tidy. Those at the front have the view but will be very hot in high summer. Those at the rear are far more comfortable out of the heat.
Currently staying here. This was an expensive hotel for us but we paid £300 for a room upgrade prior to arrival so we could guarantee a balcony. So VERY Disappointed it only has sun until about 10am so a waste if £300. ! I asked if there was an alternative room and received the usual “come back tomorrow to see what’s left after the arrivals/departures” ! The door to the room unlocks intermittently! The breakfast was stone cold! The evening meal was lukewarm! I’m only hoping the tram /train experience which was the main pull to booking here lives up to its reviews! The bed and pillows are comfortable Granted this is our first day/night but so far regretting my hotel Choice. Obviously if things improve I will edit my review. But in my experience, First impressions are usually the most truthful. I think this hotel could be greatly improved by some investment in the dining facilities, but sadly the lack of sun on the balcony is a design error!
The location is great, right on the main strip so only a 10 metre walk to the beach.
I had a single room and whilst small, it was sufficient. Air con worked well but it wasn't scorching outside so would be interested to see what the hot months are like. The noise of the plumbing from the room above is extremely loud, as are the footsteps due to the hard floor. They could do with a refurbishment as they look very tired and dated.
We were here for cycling. The hotel doesn't allow bikes in the room which is a shame for ease of setting up etc, and you have to store them in the basement utility corridor. A few stands and hooks are provided, along with a track pump.
The hotel pool doesn't open until 10 am so no early swims, and with the need to exchange a card for a pool towel, or you'll be charged on departure. A very archaic system.
Gym. Used this daily. Decent size but very basic. Heaviest dumbell is only 10kg. A few small changes like a water station, some towels, heavier weights, an extra bench (there's only 1) could improve it no end
Roof top bar... The views are stunning. Comfy seating, decent background chilling music. 👍
Restaurant/food
Overall just ok for a hotel buffet.
The restaurant is a bit soulless though. Needs atmosphere. No background music which it needs. Also, the layout is a bit illogical. For example, at breakfast, the bread and toaster is at the far end of the restaurant but the butter and jam is at the complete opposite end!
To sum up, just ok but would try elsewhere should I return.
Desperate Save your money and go elsewhere Rooms are tiny Needs updating Rooms are too close together and super noisy you can hear everything next door Great location and breakfast was good but I wouldn’t go back Nicer hotels for the same price close by
Lovely hotel great location .. the pool is well maintained and you walk literally across the road to the small beautiful beach. Our room was very small .. only one person could fit in the bathroom or on the balcony at one time- and the WiFi is patchy almost everywhere. Be careful when you book .. I apparently booked half board … as did another couple .. accidentally… and we had no option but to pay the 29€ each per night as charged … but despite this I enjoyed our stay
