Brilliant hotel

Review by G9871SGjordanh

Clean, friendly and all round amazing hotel for families, kids entertainment was brilliant at night you can tell it was usually a lot busier as it was quiet but never the less the entertainment went on regardless and the kids had a brilliant time, it felt so safe during this COVID period and it’s 5 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants and beach! We will defiantly be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Family hotel, fabulous holiday and a GF menu

Review by lesleys112

I visited jutlandia in August with my family, 2 adults and 2 kids, 11 and 14. We were originally booked into the sister hotel plazamar, but were changed to Jutlandia due to the sister hotel not opening. The hotel its self was lovely, kitchenette in each room, twin bedroom and sofa beds in the main loving area...

Each room.overlooks the balcony. The snack bar was ideal, chips, toastie, hit dogs and burgers with the usual selection of All inclusive drinks. The snack bar also had an extensive menu and it was marked clearly to what allergens were in the food. The pool was great and clean, kids loved it. The main meals were served in the sister hotel across the road, food options were quite good, fresh meat and fish cooked daily. Again plenty of allergen information next to the dishes. There is a gluten free section also however the food was always cold, something I'll be emailing the hotel about separately, however alot of the food on offer on the main counter was gluten free also. All in all it was a great holiday!

Great personnel made the whole difference

Review by juanfC9136UJ London, United Kingdom

We went there for 1 week as family with a 1-year-old kid, mainly given the proximity to Palma Airport (not too far away) and its focus on kids in terms of pools, activities, etc.

The absolute best Jutlandia has to offer is its people and service they provide. From the reception with Pablo and Tatiana, to entertainment and Jupilandia with Julio and Ana, to restaurant and bar with Jose (chef) and Jose and Alejandro (bar and restaurant support), and of course many others that work in the same line. I can’t remember such engaging personnel across the board in other hotels I’ve been to...

Management should take note on this as its biggest asset.

The common places are good, clean and the pools are well kept. Different pools meant people were spread. None the less, I would see a bit of a space issue on a high season on a regular (non-pandemic) year. The bar area is nice and the stage and table area is ample too. You pretty much get sun all of the day at the pools which is good. The slides are really nice for kids and there are many different ones which suit different ages, even my 1-year-old.

The food was very good. The quality of certain foods surprised as given we expected something ok to good, but we actually got much more than that. Variety was nice in every meal. The drinks were good, but with some points I’ll remark as they made little sense given the all-inclusive with “national drinks”: the restaurant is across the road and there was sangria on tap there, included. But in the bar next to the pool, sangria was not included. The national alcohols mean second brands of much of the liquors we all know, which they were mainly alright and some good, but for instance, the Hierbas de Majorca were not included even though they are national. Wine selection for all-inclusive is the weakest point, and being in Spain, no excuse is a good excuse here.

I think the weakest point of the hotel is the dated rooms. They are preserved, but not necessarily well. The lighting in them does not help one tiny bit as the lights are few and, on our block, we didn’t get lot of sunshine coming in given the placement. I understand that the pandemic does not allow for refurbishments given costs, but some of the goods in the hotel are way older than this Covid pandemic and should have been replaced long before. Sometimes some minor aesthetic changes make a massive difference. We had an issue with ants the whole trip and even if the island has ants, many cracks allowed them in. Cracks that were not supposed to be there. Cleaning of the rooms was average, but the personnel was lovely.

All in all we enjoyed as our kid enjoyed it a lot.

Julio!!!! Julio!!!! Julio!!!!

Review by Harriet B

Wow!! Jutlandia - what an amazing place and made perfect by the wonderful Julio!!!! I have visited Majorca almost every year for the last 30 years, we stayed at Jutlandia for the first time in 2020 and returned again this year because we wanted to see Julio again, it’s first time we have returned to the same hotel and we have booked to stay at Jutlandia again for 2022!! The hotel is immaculate, the staff are friendly and work unbelievably hard to make your stay perfect. It’s like a family and you get welcomed with open arms. The food is good and there is a variety of different dishes. The entertainment is fun and Julio is so funny, the kids (and adults!) will talk about him for the whole year in excitement to see him again...

If you’re looking for a fun, relaxed, safe and family friendly place to stay this is it!!! Simply perfect!!!!
