Really lovely hotel, all staff so friendly and helpful, only got Fernando at the pool bars name he was great, amazingly comfy beds, had pool view 5th floor great view, breakfast had so much choice we had 3 courses everyday, if “full English” is your thing remember your in Spain, fab location to all the bars and restaurants this small resort offers, furthest away 6 min walk local bus takes you further afield, huge construction site nearby but nice chill out music at the pool drowned it out, there are water fountains so bring a water bottle saves buying it, altogether very chilled week
A fabulous experience at Mynd Adeje in beautiful Callao Salvaje, Tenerife. Amazing hotel facilities, food, drinks, pool and hospitality to match. Special shout out to all of the 5* team, the customer service is fantastic in all areas. Loved meeting the crew in Lamesa every morning and evening, Diego in particular, was superb, with a warm welcome for everyone. Looking forward to returning soon!
We had a very unpleasant start to our vacation, entirely because of the way we were treated by the hotel manager, Bianca. We booked a room for two adults and included our 3-year-old child in the Booking.com reservation. The system automatically upgraded us to a larger room, but we did not need it since our son sleeps in our bed. At check-in, we were informed that we had to pay an additional charge for our child. We never refused to pay, nor did we try to avoid the fee. We simply asked whether a discount might be possible, as in most hotels we have stayed at, children of this age stay free of charge. The receptionist politely explained that she did not have the authority to make that decision and suggested that we speak with the manager the following day. From that moment on, our experience took a very disappointing turn. Manager Bianca was extremely aggressive and unprofessional. She told us that we should never have been allowed into the hotel, that the receptionist would be punished for letting us check in, and even said that she should have called the police. To this day, we still do not understand what could possibly justify such a statement, especially considering that we remained calm, respectful, and fully willing to pay any additional charges. To put an end to the discussion, we told her that we accepted the extra charge and would pay it immediately. However, she insisted that we move to the upgraded room, even though we explained that we did not want to change rooms because we had already unpacked all our luggage and were about to leave for the beach with a 3-year-old child. There was absolutely no understanding or flexibility. Instead, she repeatedly told us to move “as soon as possible,” making the situation even more stressful. What upset us the most was the way we were made to feel. We felt humiliated and placed under unnecessary pressure, especially because Bianca repeatedly told us that the receptionist would be punished because of us and kept insisting that she should have called the police. Hearing this over and over again was both shocking and intimidating, particularly since we had done nothing wrong. We remained calm, respectful, and fully cooperative throughout the entire conversation. No hotel manager should speak to guests in this manner or make them feel responsible for disciplinary actions involving staff. It is a real shame because the hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, well maintained, and all the other staff members we encountered were kind, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, the first impression of our holiday was completely overshadowed by the manager’s attitude. A hotel can have beautiful rooms and excellent facilities, but the way guests are treated when an issue arises is what truly defines the quality of hospitality. I sincerely hope the hotel’s management takes this feedback seriously, because this kind of behavior falls far below the standard of service that a hotel of this quality should provide.
Came here June 2026, we’d originally booked Cyprus but changed our booking due to uncertainty. We stayed at MYND Yazia in March so switched to this hotel. We flew on my birthday, I had thought the hotel may of noticed this but they didn’t, fair enough though. Had a lovely room overlooking the car park, view doesn’t bother us… pay more for a pool view if you spend longer in your balcony. The hotel has a beautiful refurb, lovely bars and the half board concept usually almost works out cheaper then b and b with the value you get! Cocktails and food were ace here, just be aware there isn’t much in the area so it’s a really chill vibe. We kept getting the bus into Adeje for €4.40 for the two of us to eat on a night. Massive shout out fernando for the top mega ace cocktails, he was so good at his job! Massive shout to Olga who cleaned our room, she’s absolutely lovely And worldy of a shout out to who we called ‘Alice’ on reception- blonde hair, specs, 22. She did amazing getting my husbands phone back to us from the bus depot!!! (He’s been out all over the world and been in some states… never lost a phone… go out with me and our baby and left a phone on the bus to go get baby’s pram!!!) We did have to get security one night as some people came back to their room, woke us and were exceptionally loud, nearly woke the baby… then they’d of known about it!!! 4am!! The hotel soon came and spoke to them though and this can happen anywhere.
Would I come back? Maybe. We’ll see. May well go back to MYND yazia just because it’s nearer town.
Really nice job your doing though MYND and thanks for the great memories!!!
