Relaxing break in a beautiful location

Review by 147louisey Reading, United Kingdom

We were thrilled with the location of the hotel and the beautiful sea view from our balcony. Playa Paraiso is very quiet but if you want there is a complimentary shuttle service into the next resort where it's more lively and has a large beach. The hotel was very clean, lots of hand sanitizers around and all staff were polite and friendly. The food was great...

Sadly due to Covid restrictions not all restaurants or the spa were open, entertainment was limited and the use of the jacuzzi was severely restricted. But the grounds and the pools are beautiful.

Overall very happy with our holiday.

Peaceful high quality hotel in the heart of Adeje

Review by Malcolm P Cardiff, United Kingdom

Excellent hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms, a lovely warm heated salt water pool and an equally invigorating cold water pool. Service and friendliness from all of the staff was exceptional in all areas. We will return to this hotel without hesitation.

Truly Excellent !

Review by Sils55 St. Albans, United Kingdom

We enjoyed everything about our week long stay at this hotel. We received a warm welcome from the member of staff on reception and were escorted to our room. This was in Masca and overlooked the garden and pool (with direct access to the pool from the terrace). All Covid regulations were in place with sanitising equipment around the hotel and masks being required when moving around the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the service was friendly and very good. We enjoyed pre dinner drinks on the terrace outside the main bar and also in the bar near the pool and as in the restaurant, service was prompt and friendly. The location was ideal - direct access to the beach and close to local amenities. This was our first visit to Tenerife and the hotel surpassed our expectations...

It was an excellent hotel and was perfect for a winter break.

Almost perfect stay

Review by forshr Loughborough, United Kingdom

We have just returned from a weeks’ stay at this lovely hotel (4th - 11th of January). Overall we were really impressed with all aspects of the hotel and in particular the staff.

There were a couple of issues hence the 4 star review rather than five stars. These related to a couple of issues in the room (sink plunger not working (although fixed) and a broken bath plug) and in the Solandra buffet restaurant on the last couple of days...

It was extremely annoying at dinner to have to wait for your food to be served served to you at every station particularly when the station was unstaffed and the existing food on your plate is getting cold. Moreover, at breakfast to have the cereal tube wheel turned for you and the milk poured is frankly ridiculous.

All that aside there were far more positives than negatives and it wouldn’t stop us returning although if the Solandra was not allowing self service I would avoid the half-board option and visit the many restaurants along the promenade which we did on a couple of evenings.

Lovely Quiet Hotel

Review by FredDi1955 Liverpool, United Kingdom

I would definitely say this was a 5 star hotel. The staff were attentive and efficient. The hotel beautiful and spotless...

The grounds and pool area spectacular. Lovely cushioned sun beds. The food was excellent, little things like freshly squeezed juices, and omelettes made from fresh eggs at breakfast make all the difference. The rooms are a good size and once again spotless. Having to pay to unlock the fridge was not a very good idea though. I would say the clientele are mainly of a certain age, and maybe not ideal for a younger set. From what I could see there are three price ranges for the rooms. The first are the same nice rooms, but with little or no balcony view, but being 5star, not cheap. The second have a view of the pool and grounds, but of course, more expensive. The third and quite expensive have a sea view. Would I stay again, probably but only if I could afford a nice view.
