We are currently staying at this hotel for one month..we have an accessible room which is perfect for our needs,,we have stayed at this several times since it opened over 20 years ago..never ever had one complaint..perfect for us always as for a great many of people we meet up with during our stays..nothing but praise for all the staff and the way they carry out their duties in a cheerful and respectful way!
When we got to hotel it has the wow feeling inside and out. Lovely size hotel with all amenities you could want really. The rooms as big and very clean...
We have had fresh bedding and towels every day since being here. The good is brilliant. The service is really good here aswell and everyone seems friendly aswell.
One thing to be careful of is that if you put your beach towel down too early and leave it, they will take it off the sun bed and you will have to collect from them. They don’t like people putting towels on and going off. Great place here because your not far from anything.
Having our Italy holiday cancelled, we booked this hotel as looked amazing on website. We booked just as hotel reopened after covid so only read reviews pre covid, which seemed ok. Very grand hotel, overly large reception area where they also host entertainment. Seats outside but had to watch it through glass windows if no seats inside, so didnt feel part of it...
Rooms are quite dated, but clean. Pillows are like door stops, we asked for several but all the same. Aircon is not the best. Getting ready at night was uncomfortably hot, especially n bathroom, hairdryer etc. We paid extra for pool/sea view only to find out that hotel were giving people same rooms on request without the cost. We left do not disturb sign in door every other day , yet the maid took it out and came in anyway, very annoying. We complained to reception but nothing changed. Website does not say theres steep incline down to beach, around 10/ 15 min walk. We love the beach but hardly went as a killer on way back up. Most restaurants/bars were there too and not much around hotel, so again, a bit of a let down when wanting to go out. Had to wear flats whole time Tip... dont take heeled sandals/wedges as getting up the bank was hard. Im surprised the hotel hasnt a shuttle bus, especially for the less immobile. We did manage to find few close restaurants nearby. The slow boat chinese, Babu indian and pizza at el Duke shopping centre. If your looking for lively bars/club etc, this hotel not for you. The best thing about this hotel is the pool area. The worst thing is the food. We were b n b which was nothing special. Restaurant had a makeover, but like a previous review, was very uninviting like something out of Ikea/very canteen like. We booked evening meal for last 3 nights as struggling to find different places to eat. What a mistake, we cancelled after first night as food was no 5 star more like 3 star, €25 each and not even water or wine with meal. Had raw food right next to cooked. Noticed one of the cooks handling the raw chicken then serving cooked to people.. I would say this hotel is at most a 4 star but not rooms/food or accessibility to it. Will not be returning.
Hi this is a very honest review, we have stayed in 3 4star hotels in Tenerife over the last 5 years and this is 5star. Reasons for the 5star it is spotless never seen toilets so clean in bar area and pool area so great job to the staff who cover this. Pool, gardens and sun beds are lovely and plenty beds with umbrellas to go around so still can’t understand why folk still want to reserve them...
Massive plus side is staff remove towels from beds before 10 if not been used, please continue this as wish all hotels done the same.
Reception staff very good and helpful check in was fast and everything explained to us, checkout staff printed everything I needed for the airport which was great.
Breakfast lovely only got up 4x but was plenty to choose from, lunch we enjoyed the pool bar for lunch as it was nice food and relaxing having it brought to you and also nice and cool yes somethings you had to pay extra for but we didn’t because there was plenty to choose from. Evening meal is where me personally feels it needs improvements but not going to knock it down as it was only this I felt needed more attention. My reasons for this is plenty fish options (so my husband loved this) but iam not and I had to stand every time we went in for meat to be cooked which personally in the 4star we have stayed in the meals were that little touch better, there had a chef carving a joint of meat each night on top of all the other meats and that’s where I feel the hotel needs to improve on, also it can be salty, Staff are great and love having drinks brought to instead of going yourself to get drinks, but my opinion needs improvements on meats been cooked.
Rooms are a little dated but very clean, 9 English channels, fridge and free safe. Plenty of storage and mirrors to get ready. Chambers maids were in daily and changed towels every day great job.
Lobby bar was lovely sometimes you did have to wait for service but not a problem just put your hand up and there be straight over, good selection of drinks and lovely peanuts always brought over. Staff very friendly and 2 nights when we watched show we took a bottle of cava to room to sit and chill on balcony. We would definitely go back to this hotel and we class it as 5star the 4star we stayed in have been lovely but we didn’t get waiter service which I loved felt like I was really relaxed and did not have to get coffee or drinks when having meals. Oh and the gym my husband went here most days and said it was very good with fresh towels and water bottles given to you.
Thanks again for a great stay
Just back from Gran Costa Adeje hotel, our 12th visit over the years. No hotel compares, we love the style of the hotel, pools & rooms, the hospitality, the buffet & their speciality cooking while you wait. The hygiene in the hotel was meticulous as always...
Great evening entertainment, as well as daily pool exercises & entertainment & fashion shows by the pool. Thankyou for a great experience.
