Second visit!

Review by Carole W Warwickshire

Recently returned from our second visit to this lovely hotel, having last stayed November 2021. As before we had a bungalow on an all inclusive basis. I requested a bungalow with a private, sunny terrace or garden and that's exactly what we got - overlooking the pool too! ALL of the staff here are fantastic - friendly, helpful and very accommodating...

There's a wide range of ages at this hotel, lots of children, but lots of couples too. Foodwise there's a good range and something to suit everyone. I'll eat almost anything so was spoilt for choice most nights - I particularly enjoyed trying the different fish on offer. The pool bar is great too - particularly for a snack at lunchtime if you don't want a meal in the restaurant One bonus is that the pool is cordoned off until 10.00am so none of the early morning sunbed grabbers!! The resort is set out beautifully and the gardens are very well maintained. There are lots of steps but lifts to the different levels too. Really enjoyed our second visit and will be back for a third!

Great stay!

Review by missshell1 uk

We stayed for a week self catering in a two bedroom villa. The villa was clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay apart from only 4 dining chairs and having to ask for an extra pillow and towels as we were a family of 5 but it was only catered for 4. The hotel staff were friendly and the maid service good. Everywhere is clean and well kept...

We enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially the kids who love a mini disco! The table service for drinks was great. The swimming pools were heated so no issues with it being cold - always a plus and we always managed to get loungers. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. The location is great with a supermarket next door and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It's just a few minutes walk down to the beach. The waterpark is only a short taxi ride from the hotel also.

The only downsides were a noisy generator nearby for the first couple of days we stayed which didn't make sitting in the garden relaxing and we sometimes got a smell of drains when sitting in the villa garden. I'd prefer a villa in a different location if we stayed again to hopefully avoid this as my parents who were staying in a different part of the hotel didn't have this problem.

Lots to love!

Review by Nat_531 Birmingham

I stayed for 10 days with my husband and 2 year old toddler. There's a lot to love about this hotel. Firstly, the location is fantastic, near 3 great beaches & a promenade...

Fantastic supermarket next door that sells everything you could need. The facilities are great for little ones. 3 pools all have shallow areas, soft play, several play areas, football pitch, bouncy castle. I agree with another review that mentioned there could be more kids entertainment in the day for the little ones that are either too young or don't go to kids club. There were lots of tots there. We stayed at another hotel (pre-child) that did a mini disco like pool ('pirate') dance in the shallow area of the main pool during the day. Just a though but I think something like that would work perfect at this place. There are some really thoughtful touches at this hotel that make it a little easier with a young child. Nappy changing facilities in all the toilet areas, shop on site that sells nappies & wipes, plastic cutlery comes with each high chair at mealtimes & the little play area in reception. Food is good quality & lots of choice. If I'm honest sauces a little bland but I think that may be with the little ones in mind (which worked for us cos our little one could try everything). We were full board & drinks (in water) are not included with meals (except breakfast). I thought this was a little cheeky but we paid a really good price for our stay. The photographer at the hotel is wonderful. Very talented. Took some stunning photos for us. We will treasure these. Thank you so much. Our only real complaints (but I think these could be fixed?) were the beds were uncomfortable & the room was very noisy. We stayed in bungalow 679 & I think the seals on the windows were really poor & one didn't seem to shut very well. There was very load music every night & the windows don't block this out so we didn't sleep well. I'm not sure if this was just an issue in our room or elsewhere. The hotel prides itself on being environmentally friendly so it would maybe be something to consider? Poor windows also wastes the air conditioning! Otherwise the bungalow was well equipped & we loved our outside area. It got the sun at our sons naptime so we could lounge outside. Our maids were fantastic, so friendly & did a great job every day.

Great for a family getaway

Review by lauren_marks93 London, United Kingdom

We visited as a family of 7 (6 adults, one child) and were pretty happy with what we got for the price we paid. We had one weeks all inclusive. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and housekeeping came daily...

All areas were kept very clean and all staff were very friendly.

The food was fairly good. I cannot fault the variety - there was so much to choose from and lots of healthier options too. I thought the fact kids plastic plates, bowls and cutlery was provided was very thoughtful. The all inclusive, for the price we paid, was worth it even if only for breakfast and poolside drinks alone. It never took long to get a poolside drink and the snack bar was handy, although quite samey.

The entertainment wasn’t the best that we’ve been to, but it was nice just to have some entertainment of an evening. Of course you could go out and find probably better, but it was handy to have within the hotel.

Our 2.5 year old loved the disco! Kids of all ages loved it and joined it which was great to see. He never did the kids clubs but it looked as though they did some lovely activities. The kids pool was brilliant and the lifeguards across all the pools were very good.

All in all, we would recommend this hotel as a cheapie family getaway. If I came again I’d possibly only do bed and breakfast, depending on price. Only as I found local restaurants were so nice.
