Great Hotel with plenty of swimming pools and sunbeds. Never had a problem getting a sunbed and the Hotel policy states no towels on beds for saving. Water 💦 was comfortable without being over loaded with chlorine. Wrist band opens your room door, which is a great touch and you are given a card for the electric that is encouraged to leave it in the room, meaning you are able to leave the air conditioning on. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beaches and shopping areas. Plenty of restaurants and eateries close by. All inclusive was a help yourself to alcohol drinks and soft drinks, and easy to use and plentiful. Would stay again 😊
Fab location but lacked quality furnishings and decor All inclusive food was basic and some days disappointing Rooms were spacious with good shower Outside pools had good reps with Sofia a delight and attentive especially with children. Plenty of pool activities encouraging guests to mix and have fun There was no effort made by restaurant staff to make you feel welcome Overall the package price was competitive and I would recommend people to visit this hotel and would have no problem choosing to return some day
Lovely staff. Good food. Rooms need updating. No English TV channels only Sky news. Although they have aircon this was not used in public areas 25 deg at night. On main road roundabout.
Having seen some of the reviews I was very apprehensive before visiting, however I'm glad to report, that mostly, there was nothing to worry about.
I do agree with the sentiment in some reviews that it's a bit rough round the edges, it could do with a good refurb. It's a decent hotel but a bit rough round the edges.
We upgraded to the "best premium" room, I would say this is a standard 4* room, so I would anticipate the standard rooms may be more of a 3* standard

Breakfast, dinner had a decent enough selection, hot and some freshly cooked in front of you
Jacaranda cake was lovely
Staff all very friendly including cleaners
Brassiere restaurant looks great, pristine and modern.
We stayed half board but was offered a half board plus upgrade so we could get unlimited soft drinks and some alcohol drinks with food for 3.50 euros a day, this was great value and I'd highly recommend this if your staying half board.

Brassiere restaurant, while it looks great you actually get less of a selection, I thought there would be a specific selection only available at that restaurant
Hotel and rooms a bit rough round the edges, hotel would massively benefit from a refurb
Hotel would benefit from an indoor pool or spa area especially as it's 4*
The hotel building is huge, if you have mobility issues, do not underestimate the distance you may have to walk if you are assigned a room high up/far away.
Cockroaches - while it's no where near as bad as some reviews make out, we did have 3 cockroaches in the room over a week, I easily dealt with them but if your someone scared of bugs just beware, but I understand it's very difficult to avoid cockroaches in the Canary islands. The hotel is Certainly not swamped in them as some reviews make out
Id certainly return to this hotel again, but would stay in the "best premium" at minimum, but there are other hotels in the area that look much more modern and more of a 4* but overall I am certainly happy with my visit
2026 & this is the 3rd year in a row we’ve stayed at the Jacaranda. I have absolutely no qualms about returning, in fact I’ve already booked again for 2027. My late September/October was perfect !
