DISGUSTING COLD FOOD AND VERY LIMITED CHOICE

Review by Lorraine H West Yorkshire, United Kingdom

Just back from this hotel and can honestly say if people say their food was fine then they must like slops...I have never ever been to a hotel where beans, eggs, sausages etc are all cold. The hotel then says you can pop it in the microwave.Unreal. .Spoke to quite a few people there and all saying the same thing so it wasnt just us complaining.Which i have to say didnt make a difference.Lunch and evening meals exactly the same,COLD.The food should be warm enough to eat.The only thing i ate at breakfast was toast,at least it was hot,a bit of salad at lunch when we did have it . we did try the meals .We paid for all inclusive but never got it.The first 4 days we were there there was no entertainment around the pool or even in the evenings even though on jet2 website it said subject to change but on the hotels website it still was advertising entertainment so again we were going out more. The hotel itself needs a massive upgrade.Rooms were very old and tired looking.Outside of hotel looks realy nice but apart from the entrance which looks lovely the rooms need modernising.Food choice was very limited, salad was there everyday and main meals was chicken, lamb or beef and what was there we did try but because it was cold we didnt eat it.either.The only good thing about this hotel was that the cleaners did a lovely job, room was cleaned well and always smelt lovely but apart from that i would say to anyone going to Costa Adeje,DONT STAY HERE unless you like cold food everyday

Thanks Villa De Adeje Beach !!

Where to start ……. Don’t be put off by cheap price, we were unsure because of price. We paid £600 more for 2 nights less 4 years ago in Tenerife...

We got no better food or beers during our stay there than we did here. Arrived 10pm, check in smooth and all COVID rules explained and temperatures checked. Got to our room and 2 plates in fridge of snacks and 2 bottles of water. Rooms - Large, spacious and well cleaned throughout our 14 day stay. Food - Best thing I can say is I’m a very fussy eater and I never went hungry , my partner ate well. Assigned a table number at check in and used same table for every meal. Drinks - We drank lager and shorts, all strong not like some all inclusive hotels we’ve stayed at. Pools - 2 outdoor (1 heated) and 1 children’s. Always sun loungers available and if you asked lifeguard a mattress was supplied so plenty comfortable. Staff - All bar staff, cleaners, lifeguard and reception staff we saw were polite, chatty and helpful where possible. Reception if asked printed out locator forms and test results for you. All spoke good English. We had 14 great nights, thanks for a great holiday making lasting memories 👍.

Don’t stay here

Review by mikesR5161HJ Inverness, United Kingdom

On arrival all appeared good. Hotel very clean and nice friendly staff.

We were staying on an all inclusive deal...

Went down for our first evening meal and that’s where the problems began.

Firstly food presentation was little better than slops. It was cold, tasteless and repetitive at every meal. When they restock, they just add the replenishment on top of the existing platters.

That was the story for the ten days we were there.

As for the drink package, red wine can only be described as little better than paint stripper. I had a brandy n coke and choked on the first sip. It was absolutely vile.

Out of 30 meals we ate no more than 10 times in the hotel. The rest of the time was eating out.

Many people were complaining and in the same situation as ourselves. Along with many others we have complained to Jet2holidays so will wait to see what they come back with.

Such a shame as the hotel and staff are great and in a central location but I won’t be back.

Relaxing holiday

Review by rosealine D

Just back from 2 weeks at this hotel, staff are excellent and a credit to the hotel. The rooms are a bit tired, we were on the 8th floor with excellent views . Don’t listen to the people who are complaining about this hotel. Food was good, we never went hungry...

The hotel is clean, always plenty loungers, 2 pools, one of them heated. For what we paid for a 3 star we were more than happy. Only downside was there was no entertainment which was advertised when we booked, as we went out a lot it was no problem but would have been nice to stay in a few nights as we were there for 2 weeks, a lot of people complaining re no entertainment. Would not hesitate to go back to this hotel.
