We are half way through our 3rd visit to Hovima. We love this hotel so much. The staff are lovely. It is kept spotlessly clean. The food and drinks are good and we love the Excellence package, with all the extra nice touches and the lovely infinity pool. We are coming back again in September. Room 1003

We booked 7 nights All Inclusive and chose the excellence package. We had stayed in this hotel in the 90s when it was called the Esmeralda. When we arrived we received a super welcome from the reception and were offered a glass of Cava. We were given room 315 which was a large room with a balcony and a sea view. The safe was free and the mini bar had fantastic orange, lemon and sprite, beer, cans of water, 2 small bottles of red wine and a large bottle of water. The contents of the mini bar were replenished every day with no charge. A coffee machine and pods which were also replenished every day. The room was spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel and they all work so hard to keep the hotel spotlessly clean. There is a water machine at the lifts where you can get as much water as you want. There’s a restaurant caled Ocean Blue that does theme nights, Asian, Italian and Spanish and it was free to use. We booked the Asian night and we were not disappointed. We were served a 3 course meal with drinks. The excellence restaurant was superb. We were welcomed in there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was a menu for breakfast and lunch or you can use the main buffet. The evening meal was from the main buffet. The staff in the excellence restaurant were fantastic and worked hard so you can enjoy a relaxed feeling during your meals. The excellence pool area was spotlessly clean and people just relaxed in the sun and had a swim. Towels for the pool area were in your room when you arrived and the lifeguard will change the towels for you. The lifeguard was a great guy who helped everyone when you required the heavy parasol moved or put up. He was a real help for us elderly people. Entertainment at night was very good and as excellence guest you could ask for premium drinks at no extra cost. We had a fantastic time in the hotel and we will definitely return. I would recommend the excellence package.
