Perfectly situated in the heart of Playa del Bobo, this family-friendly hotel is just a few steps from the excellent beaches of Costa Adeje. Many sports facilities, outdoor pools, one restaurants and a variety of bars are offered on site. Numerous shops, restaurants, bars and cafés are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, while one of Europe's largest water parks is within easy reach. Visitors will find plenty of useful facilities on-site, including large outdoor swimming pools for a refreshing bath, as well as luxurious dining facilities to taste exquisite dishes. Those travelling as a couple will find the perfect room for them with breath-taking views to the sea and families will appreciate the functional communicated rooms with everything necessary for a pleasant stay.
This is a review from a 48-year-old Scottish guy and a 44-year-old Northern Irish girl who had never visited this hotel before. Hopefully it helps anyone considering booking.
🏨 The Hotel – 8/10 Lovely hotel in a good location, with genuinely friendly staff. Everyone we came across was welcoming, helpful and usually had a smile on their face.
The main downside is that some areas are definitely showing their age. We understand the hotel is currently going through renovations, so hopefully some of these things will improve as the work progresses.
❄️ Air Conditioning – 1/10 This really needs improvement. When we were there, temperatures were around 29°C, and the air conditioning wasn't great in the rooms, reception, front bar or restaurant.
The restaurant in particular could become very uncomfortable when you're trying to eat in that heat. Better air conditioning throughout the hotel would make a massive difference.
🛏️ Our Room – 7/10 When we first walked into the room, my partner wasn't overly impressed.
It looks like the hotel is currently renovating its rooms, and unfortunately we were allocated one of the older, non-renovated rooms.
That said, it was clean, cleaned every day, and was a decent size. We had a lovely pool view, the shower was good, the fridge was a decent size and there were enough plug sockets for all our gadgets.
It was just very dated compared with some of the newer rooms we've seen advertised.
🍽️ Food & Drink – 8/10 Pretty much what you'd expect from an all-inclusive hotel, but we were happy with it.
We found something we liked every time we went into the restaurant, and there was enough variety that we never felt stuck for something to eat.
The restaurant was clean, the staff were quick at clearing tables, and we never had any problem finding a table.
🎤 Entertainment – 9/10 Most of the entertainment was genuinely excellent.
ABBA, Motown, Michael Jackson and the karaoke nights were all great and really enjoyable.
As for the Queen tribute... let's just say I couldn't even sum up what we saw or heard. 😂
But overall, the entertainment was definitely one of the highlights for us.
📸 Photo Staff – 3/10 This is probably the one area where we felt a little uncomfortable.
The photographers regularly approach you around the pool while you're trying to relax. We understand it's their job and appreciate they're only trying to sell photographs, but even after saying no, they can be quite persistent.
When you're lying around the pool in swimwear, with wet hair and no makeup, it's probably not the best time to be approached for photographs!
Personally, we'd suggest keeping the photo selling mainly to the evenings, when people are dressed up and perhaps more interested in having photos taken.
⭐ Overall We enjoyed our first visit to the hotel and would say that the friendly staff, location, food and entertainment were all positives.
The biggest things that let it down for us were the poor air conditioning and the dated room — although we appreciate renovations are currently taking place.
If the hotel gets the remaining rooms renovated and improves the air conditioning, we'd expect it to be a very different experience.

From start to finish this hotel was amazing. Check in process was smooth and easy, it was great that we were offered a welcome drink. When we arrived we were upgraded, our room was perfectly located. Our balcony was very spacious and was lovely looking out over the pool. The room itself was very clean, lots of storage space, we could not fault the room at all!
The food was immaculate, so much choice and themed nights every night. I was so pleased with the food and drinks at this hotel. The drinks were great, very generous and premium spirits, you definitely get what you pay for.
The location was fantastic, we walked everywhere. There is lots going on around the hotel, it is in a fabulous location! Also very close to the airport which is helpful to know for people travelling!
I would definitely come back to the hotel, everything was 10/10. It was always clean, the staff were so kind and friendly, always attentive and always busy, they work so hard!
There is lots to do in the hotel as well, the evening entertainment was very good on the days we watched it. The only thing that could do with a bit of improvement was the snack bar, we felt there was very very little choice and some of the food was left out for a while with dirty plates but otherwise everything else was fantastic.
I would recommend this hotel, it was very reasonably priced and I would definitely return. Thank you for having us!
Nice hotel, best animation team ever , the room are really clean , bar staff always with smiles face (actually all the staff are like this always happy) guess service help us for some stuff thank you again All the stuff are amazing definitely come back (the food was absolutely nice) See you soon las dalias and the animation team we gonna back really soon !!
Love this hotel specially the entertainment team , we always come back every year
We’ve been here for a week now and have a few more days to go. Been a little disappointed with the hotel after being recommended by my daughter who stayed last year. We joined a Facebook group on the hotel a few weeks before we came and that seemed full of regular returning guests that didn’t have a bad word to say.
We’d seen that the hotel is gradually renovating the rooms and we did get one of the old rooms but it is fine just dated. The beds are comfortable but we did request beforehand a double but just got two singles. I think a hotel of this quality should have some tea and coffee facilities in the room as standard. Also it’s the first all inclusive we’ve been to that the fridge isn’t stocked.
The cleaning staff keep the rooms clean and tidy.
The food is reasonable with plenty of choice and different themes every evening mix it up enough. The drinks are decent enough, although some of the cocktails are from a pre-made bottle and not upto much. The bar staff work hard but there are some big queues at times at the bar.
The entertainment team work tirelessly and there’s a few outside acts that come in some evenings. The ABBA tribute was good but the Queen tribute last night was awful!
But for us the things that let it down… The air conditioning throughout the hotel is poor. It’s not been particularly hot but quite humid and the dining room and indoor bar area are far too hot, in fact last night we gave up sitting indoors at the bar as it just uncomfortable. The bedrooms fair no better our room struggles to get cool and the aircon is programmed to shut off overnight ( was actually awake one night when I heard it switch off at 2am). Getting ready in the evening to go out is a pain as even after getting out the shower you can’t cool down. We did ask for someone to come and look but never showed up.
The pool area is busy the sun beds are close together and as I sit here just before 11am I can’t see any free beds. The sunbeds themselves are reason alone that we wouldn’t return. Although they appear fairly new they’re rock hard and none of our party of 4 could get comfortable.
Yesterday when we came down to the pool area it was shut as they were taking pictures with models around the pool and a drone in the air taking overhead shots. The funny thing is for these official hotel photos they removed scores of sunbeds to make it appear spacious then as soon as they finished they wheeled all the sunbeds back again. So don’t believe the official pics the real world is very different!
So we wouldn’t return here and couldn’t recommend the hotel which is a shame as we’ve previously liked the Iberostar hotels we’ve stayed in before.
